Just wondering what the job market looks like in these areas. Are there nice hospitals?

a friend of mine once told me that getting a c-section is almost the same as undergoing an appendectomy. personally, i think it isn't. i think women should be respected for being able to withstand childbirth. it is a strength in itself. though my friend refused to believe so and thinks that women, "generally" (and physically), are a weaker sex than men.

my nose has been bleeding for a week, and the blood becomes a clot in my nose, so it feels stuffy until I blow my nose. I tried Vaseline, to keep my nose 'moist' but it's not helping.

What could the cause of this be and what can I do to stop it?

Today I started my Antabuse medication and I have counselling lined up starting next Monday.
Today I said Goodbye to alcohol.

I have to leave you now
I have to say goodbye
We must never meet again
You must be cast aside

Your usefulness is over
This game is at an end
I'm leaving now for better things
But I want to part as friends

I know you never did me harm,
It was I that caused the bruise,
I cannot blame the tool
That I chose to abuse

You gave me everthing I asked of you
And you would have till the end
It was I that ruined the trust we had
I wish I'd been a better friend

I must turn away from your sweet kiss
We must never more embrace,
Our fevered dance is ended
And shall not be danced again.

Hello guys and girls,

I've been on Effexor for 4 weeks now (75mg) but at night before I goto bed, I get really sad and down, so having some beer helps.

I've been drinking about 3 Coronas (light beer) every night to help calm down and sleep. I know you aren't supposed to drink on this medication as it amplifies the effects of alcohol. But are there any other concerns I should be aware of?

I'm not drinking heavily, it's a light beer. Is this something I should stop?

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

This is sort of a yucky question, but I'm wondering...When I cry for about 15 minutes, then blow my nose, there is often blood in my snot, accompanied with a throbbing headache. Is there any conditon or reason why there might be blood in my snot? Its happened a few times and I'm starting to get a bit worried.

My sleeping pattern is horribly instable. I am literally nocturnal. I find it difficult to wake, even to the point where I sleep through 3 alarms (yeah, yeah, I know). I find myself getting 13+ hours of sleep. Does this sound like a vitamin deficiancy? Also, do you know of any aids that could regulate my sleep cycle and heaviness of my sleep? Thank you.

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two toddlers. I love it, but lately I've been absolutely exhausted. I could get 8 hours of sleep and still feel like I slept 4 or 5 hours. I am extremelly emotional and will cry over some of the most stupid things (even tv commercials!). I've tried altering my diet, I've cut down on coffee, I've quit smoking, and yet I'm totally drained. Do you have any advice for me?

My dog got a hold of a bag of green tea leaves and started to eat the leaves. I was wondering if that was dangerous or not.

I am 17, and today I have been having a hard time peeing. I have taken in at least 15 glasses of water (and only water, I did not drink any thing else) but when I do feel the need to pee it comes out dark yellow, and it hurts as it flows.

I think I may be fighting a cold, which might have something to do with it, but I don't know. I CANNOT talk to my parents about it. They get mad at every thing, and all they do is yell. Do I need to talk to a doctor about this (my best friend’s dad is a doctor, and I could talk to him...)??

hey, i was baking food in a mini oven and my mom put a gorcery plastic bag on top of the oven (dunno why the hell she did that) then i didn't notice it, so i just went on to cook up my food in that oven with the door shut with the plastic bag melting on top of the oven which could have spilled into my food. I could smell something was burning and i went to check on the food when it was done all i saw was a bag melted on top of the oven and the food smelled abit like plastic. I still ate the food... they were mini favoured bagels. Would this cause alot of damage to my health? and how poisonous is melted plastic? can you die from eating it?

I recently donated blood, and the nurse said I had B negative negative. That's not a typo. She said something about a virus or something i havn't had, and I' ve searched the internet already. Anyone have any idea as to what would be different? I'm 18, btw, if that has anything to do with it.

My dad had a surgery to remove his brain aneurysm in December '06 and since then he's had a problem with sleeping, he's sensitive to cold and heat (on his head where the surgery took place) and no one seems to know what could be the problem. He's been through MRI's and CT scans but the docs can't find anything. He was in a sleep study not too long ago and during that he's had 37 awakenings during the duration of the study (9:30pm - 6:30am) and had an REM score of 000.0%, (Rapid Eye Movement) which of course means he didn't fall asleep. I don't like seeing him like this because it's tearing him down mentally and physically and he tries to be up and playful to be with my son (his grandson) who is 5 months old. I would like to help him anyway I can. Any outside help would be very much appreciated.

Sometimes when I play videogames on a little tv screen my vision gets blurry and I quit for about 30 minutes and it goes away. This only happens on the little round screen tv but it doesn't happen on the flatscreen tv. Can i damage my eyes from playing too much videogames on the little tv?

I am unsure how to ask this question. I took a shower before bed last night. after my shower I layed down, about 30 minutes later I got up again to go to the rest room and felt an uncomfortable pain in my back. I assumed that it was because I layed on my back which is not the position I am used to sleeping in. I went back to bed. As the night progressed the pain got worse and I found it difficult to even roll over. It hurt too bad. In the morning the pain had not gotten any better and I had difficulty geting out of bed. I was unable to stand up straight and it hurt to breathe. I have not done anything strenous nor have I lifted anything heavy. About 1 1/2 hours after I got out of bed the pain subsided. The pain is still there but not as bad as it was through out the night. It is actually tolerable. I am going to go to the doctor but I would like to know if anyone has ever experienced this and what could have cause it. Like I said I have not done anything strenous. Please Help. Thanks

Today we had a blood donation at my school, and I decided to do my part and donate. I passed all the tests, and wasn't nervous at all. I got hooked up, and she told me to tell her if I felt hot or dizzy. 20 seconds into it I got really hot and dizzy and tried to say something but she didn't hear me and I passed out. I was woken up and finished donating, and then I got up and walked and passed out again. It really sucked. Its now been 5 hours, 3 bottles of water, and a pizza dinner later, and I still feel lightheaded and have a headache when I try to read. Why is this? Also, why did I pass out? I'm a male, 6'1", and weigh 135 (so I'm pretty thin). Is that the reason? Finally, if I give blood in the future, will I pass out again?
