Can you damage your eyes by watching too much tv or videogames?

Question

Sometimes when I play videogames on a little tv screen my vision gets blurry and I quit for about 30 minutes and it goes away. This only happens on the little round screen tv but it doesn't happen on the flatscreen tv. Can i damage my eyes from playing too much videogames on the little tv?

we all need a rest from looking into a computer or game screen for long periods of time...a good rule of thumb is focus your eyes away from the screen at least every 20 or so minutes...get up and move around and maintain a longer distance focus for a couple of minutes to give your eyes a rest...

Hey what's more impotent then your eyes. You get to see whole world with it. If you lose your vision you can't sure play video games and watch TV can you. So it's better to watch less TV and play less video games. That way you will have both your eyes and you also get to watch too. Do some activities instead it's good for your health and that will keep you busy too. It's better then damaging your eyes.

eyes fatigue like any other part of the body, over use will cause blurred vision, especially since we tend to forget to blink while concentrating on the game. Suggest that if this is happening, you should take a hint from your eyes and not play the smaller game for more than fifteen minutes at a time, giving your eyes a chance to rest, and lubricate.

if it hurts when you do it,, don't do it
if your eyes need a rest,, give them a rest
maybe some day something will come along better than a video game
