hey, i was baking food in a mini oven and my mom put a gorcery plastic bag on top of the oven (dunno why the hell she did that) then i didn't notice it, so i just went on to cook up my food in that oven with the door shut with the plastic bag melting on top of the oven which could have spilled into my food. I could smell something was burning and i went to check on the food when it was done all i saw was a bag melted on top of the oven and the food smelled abit like plastic. I still ate the food... they were mini favoured bagels. Would this cause alot of damage to my health? and how poisonous is melted plastic? can you die from eating it?

hopefully my mom could be smart enough to leave the top of the oven clean.

basiclly my question is how bad was i exposed to the melted plastic. will i be fine? thanks guys

As a one off you will be fine, but do not make a habit of it!
