buy an alarm clock, get up every day at the same time, no matter what. Then find a time in the evening when you start to feel sleepy, usually about 14 hours after you get up, make one hour past that time your set bed time. Make the half hour before you go to bed a ritual of quiet, no tv, no exercise, sit quietly and listen to music or read a book, and then go to bed at your established time. Do this for a month and you will regulate your sleep patterns.

Don't sleep during the day. No matter how tierd you feel.
Don't drink tea or coffee after lunch time.
Go to sleep at the same time every night. At a reasonable time. Say 10:30 then read ot listen to music for a while to relax. Half an hour is a good relaxing time.
Get up at the same time every morning. Even weekends. Use an alarm clock in a different room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
Sleeping in on days off mucks your sleep/wake apttern up.
Make sure you get up early enough. Don't get up about 10 or 10:30 or your defeating yourself during the day.
It will take a while to re-set your internal clock. But it really works.
Actually sleeping too much can make you even more tierd.

You cannot burn the candle at both ends. In order to sleep you need to be physically tired, so get some fresh air and exercise during the day or evening. Next you need to be mentally tired, so read, do puzzles. Make sure you are relaxed before going to bed and the room is cool. Set the alarm on a shelf away from the bed, so in order for you to turn it off, you have to get up. Lack of sleep can cause serious problems, so try and get a routine to your life and a schedule for sleep.

Get some Melatonin. IT will help you reset your sleep cycle. Travelers use it to deal with jet lag, and I've found it pretty much eliminated jet lag in about a day.
