Last night, I went to bed at 10:30 and couldn't sleep. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, but nothing ever happened. I just watched the clock tick on and on for 7 hours until I had to get up at 5:30 for school, which I was too tired to go to and I stayed home sick. I stayed in bed until 8:00 but still couldn't sleep!!! Do you know what's wrong with me? What should I do?

I have one maybe every 3 days. And when I have to, it seems like I cant relax enough to get it all out. I know this sounds gross. But I was truley wondering if there are any techniques or breathing tips I could use!! Thanks!

I'm 43 yr. old Type II Diabetic. No changes in food or meds, it just happens at random times. I'm also not eating eggs before it happens.

My mother went to the hospital the other day due to not feeling well. She was really dizzy, nauseas, vomiting. They tested her blood sugar, O2 stats, she had an EKG, they tested sodium and did blood work. The only thing they came up with is that her blood sugar was almost 300. The doctor put her on some pills to bring it down but over 24 hours later she is still feeling ill and tired. She doesn't think it was the blood sugar but all the tests were fine. She also was on a blood pressure cuff for 3 hrs and they said it was fine. I can't think of anything that they didn't test for that it could be other than a nasty strain of the flu. She can't be pregnant since she doesn't have those parts anymore.

why isnt this discrimmination under the civil rights act, singling out one group for mistreatment, why are our politicians to gutless to file suit on these grounds against the fda and accuse them of civil rights discrimmination under color of law and using the rico statute to ask for crimminal penalties for conms[piracy to protect the people commiting the discrimmination.

I have a really bad nail biting problem. I just can't stop. It's been worse for the past few years. I bite them down to nubs. My thumbs are the WORST! I already know about the gross nail polish, but I heard it doesn't really work on severe nail biters. Do you guys have ANY suggestions?

i woke up this morning..my ears were fine. but i got into the car started going someone and suddenly my right ear just started to clog up. and i thought maybe it was just something in my ear so i lightly wiggled my finger but i still couldn't hear. and i tryed to clean it out without using ear swabs [cause i don't have them with me in the car]

at first i could hear again...then it went back to the same place as it was.

am i going permantly deaf in one ear?
did i do something to it?
and if so....how??

I really want contacts, but I can't touch my eye. It feels so awkward. I think my eyes are just really sensitive, because they are also really sensitive to sunlight.
What can I do to make it more comfortable so I can get contacts?

Also, I'm dreading the exam. Is the exam bad if you have sensitive eyes?

I eat..semi healthy. I'm not a health nut but I don't eat ALL junk ALL the time either. Usually 2-3 meals a day and I do exercise everyday, not enough to get me totally worn out but I still exercise. And then at night I can't fall asleep till at least 3 in the morning...which is definitely not good since I have to wake up at around 6. Any sleeping tips? Or something that I should ask my doctor about? Also, when I have someone else in the room or in the same bed it's a lot easier to fall asleep.

I have used every name brand face wash and it dries me out so bad my skin peels. Tried proActive and broke out even worse than before. I saw my dermatologist who put me on Triaz, minocycline, and the highest perscription cream. I either would break out on my chin and be peeling on my forehead or vice versa. I have even tried only washing my face with a warm/cold facecloth and still no change. I'm on the pill and my acne doesn't change when I'm on my period. I have run out of ideas and need help. I'm 20 years old...I need to get a handle on this problem...it is really affecting my life!!! Some one please help me.

Ok besides that I have asthma now and some other health issues. I have quit smoking last week,,,,,yes I am really happy about it and the best thing I ever did. However today is the 7th day and I started coughing (I always had a dry cough). I always felt that I had something to get out even at the end of my smoking time like when I cut back, and finally today. I coughed up some phlem with black streaks. Also I threw up my mucous (sorry so disgusting) but for all those ex smokers out there, did you ever experience this??? it was pretty scary to see this.
