Im experiencing shortness of breath and when I check my pulse I feel my pulse skipping a beat. Maybe its high blood pressure or anxiety, cause this only happens when I feel nervous or uncomfortable ( like being around my Mom...lol. ) And when I outside and I basically relaxed I'm ok. But the shortness of breath happens all bay.

Additional Info: I dont have chest pains or anything....yet. So I hope its not my heart

well i have decided to quit smoking cold turkey, and i am nervous.

i would like to know if you every quit or know someone who quit cold turky, what are some of the methods that worked for them, and if they were successfull?

i have made the first desion in regards to having my mind set and wanting to do this, i know in my heart i have to do this, i have always enjoyed smoking. and i never wanted to give it up, but something inside me is saying now is the time and i always listen to my intuition.. i know it wont be easy, please don't tell me to pray as i do not pray..also i really don't exercise also, and i know that probally best, but i am looking for other ways.

i do not want to use any nicorette or pills to quit, although i know people it has worked for, i just perfer not to

for those who are trying to quit and want to follow my progress i will be writting in my blog on yahoo 360 all about it
i want to thank everyone in advance for your advice and help.

Quite regularly, my upper back aches. Sometimes I notice that my back starts to ache after I eat a meal, but I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence. Although it can affect both sides, it tends to ache on the upper left side. Sometimes I'll also get arm ache, in the arm that is on the same side as the pain. Less frequently, I experience a little bit of tingling, but it normally doesn't last very long. My chest does not normally feel tight. I know I had anxiety, which was partially caused by candida overgrowth in my system. Although I've been trying to get the candida under control for the past 5 months, sometimes I will get the symptoms again. Generally, my muscles feel quite tired. When I lightly press on them, they hurt. All of these symptoms also seem to be more frequent a week before I get my period. I'm 25 years old and a student, so I spend a lot of my time hunched over a laptop and need to watch my posture. Any feedback on possible causes and treatment is appreciated!

What do i do you can see the dandruff from a distance and it is really annoying when people are picking it off me and out of my hair. I mean this dandruff is even around my hair line it is that mad and I also get these hard lumps that I guess are from the dandruff and when i scratch my head those lumps bleed. What do I do? I have already talked to a doctor he is the one that said use the T-Gel and it does not do anything. Can someone help me please?

I have been waking up numerous times many nights for a couple of months now with my right arm & hand very numb (so numb I can't even move my hand) on & off for the last couple of months and it's really disturbing my sleep & driving me crazy!
When I wake they are so badly numb (from shoulder to finger tips) that I have to get up for awhile and massage and shake them to get the blood flowing again so I can go back to sleep. The Doctors offer no advice (act like they don't believe me or that it is normal). Any idea why this is happening and how I can stop it?
Thanks

I am looking at medicare supplement plans. Most plans say they cover generic drugs. The copay for one plan for a 30 day supply of a generic drug is $10. Suppose the generic drug is one that Wal-mart charges $4 for a 30 day supply. What do you pay; $4 or $10?

My girlfriend says that once the weather starts getting chilly, you should start wearing them, and you shouldn't take them off until summer because your body temperature adjusts to them and you will catch cold. She says there are long johns made in different weights for the different seasons, fall, winter, and spring. I say she's nuts, that the reason they're made in different weights is because people who work outdoors naturally need heavier ones than people who are just going to be out for a short time. I believe that it's just an old wives' tale that once you start wearing them you'll get sick if you take them off before summer. Who is right?

A few days ago a mysterious hard lump that feels similar to a swollen lymph node appeared on my left wrist, around the bottom of the back of my hand. It gets sore when I use that wrist too much. At the moment, just about every lymph node in my neck is horribly swollen (when I turn my head it sounds like Rice Krispies in my brain) and they are causing pain to shoot up my neck constantly. I figure I am probably getting sick, or fighting off some sort of infection. I get swollen lymph nodes in my neck all the time, but never my wrist! I don't even know if they exist there.

I also have tendonitis in both of my wrists. When the soreness started on that side, I thought it was just a flare-up. I've never heard of tendonitis causing lumps that are visible under the surface of the skin, but for all I know that is the cause of this mysterious thing.

Any ideas as to what this probably is? If I can't figure it out, I'll have to see a doctor and make sure it isn't anything serious.

I had the surgery five days ago and they still seem very apparant. How long until they go?

Also, would it be unwise to cut the ends?
