Yes, me too. Its the clothes that you wear, or the things that your fingers did for prolonged period, static build up. To prevent that, get yourself a anti static mat or simply go wash your hands. too Dried hands caused static too

"Static electricity" is an electric powered phenomenon wherein the advantageous and damaging quotes on interior reach products are actually not in stability. It occurs while 2 multiple insulating supplies touch one yet another and are then separated. 2 issues are particularly significant here: the two surfaces could desire to be electric powered insulators. If the two is an electric powered conductor, the imbalance corrects itself. in fact, that's what's happening once you get a marvel from touching a metallic floor. Touching is all that's mandatory. Rubbing or scuffing the two surfaces isn't mandatory. Chemical bonds are shaped while the surfaces touch, and if the atoms in one floor tend to hold electrons greater tightly, that floor can tend to scouse borrow electrons from the different upon touch, growing to be the imbalance. notice that if between the supplies is tough or fibrous and for that reason would not supply a good touch section, then the physique of strategies of rubbing one cloth against the different can improve the great touch section, and thereby improve the great imbalance. The rubbing, even however, would not reason that imbalance; it consequences from the touch on my own. merely strolling for the duration of specific styles of carpeting, working example, is sufficient to create an imbalance between the flooring and the soles of one’s shoes. on an identical time as strolling, we bypass away at the back of the two certainly or negatively charged footprints on the carpet (based on the supplies in each and each), on an identical time as our bodies enhance into oppositely charged. because of the fact the electrical powered imbalance of "Static electricity" seeks to miraculous itself, it creates an electric powered voltage, or rigidity, between an unbalanced merchandise and any conductor. those voltages could be very super (in many situations between a million,000V, and 35,000V), that's why the surprising discharge we experience while we touch something conductive is painful. once you experience a static marvel, you're experiencing a minimum of three,000 volts of electricity. to steer away from static discharge shocks, we could avert the charging technique. that's finished in a form approaches:

That's happened to me too, and I think I narrowed it down to the shoes I was wearing! I even touched a light that sparked and set the bulb to burn out, then TV went off! So, I don't know if that was a coincidence. Could it be your shoes? I've seen sparks also.!!!!

Welcome to my world!Mine is 24/7. I do not know why. Even when I kiss my husband. It never goes away, its kinda funny. But then sometimes it really hurts. I am a female electrician.lol.So I have to double check circuits to make sure they are off. It has been that way for about 5 years now.LMAO.Its not my shoes or my hair. its everything! I even trip breakers in the panelbox. I have tried wearing copper to discharge it but that doesnt work either.lol

Yep know the feeling well, I used to get it from walking on nylon carpet all day, it was even worse when the weather was very humid like just before a thunderstorm.

sometimes it's due to dryness in the air
try putting containers of water in front of your heating vents to get moisture in the air
