I had a back xray come back yesterday & the 2nd vertibrae was alot smaller then the rest , and that is where my pain is, what could this be ? & will I see a Chiropractor for this he referred me to a specialist but never told me what the specialist was!

i went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he said i had a cracked bone in it. and i had to be off of work for two weeks. so i went back to work last friday. i am a waitress. ever since friday i have been hurting really bad. what do i need to do about it?

A friend of mine has had this neck pain since late last year. He can't raise his head or control the movements of his neck. He has been getting acupuncture and it has helped a bit. He can now raise his head a little but he still doesn't have the control that he used to have. He's never had a neck injury or head injury. Please if anyone has any kind of idea what this is please tell me. This has been really hard on him and any information would be helpful. Thank you.

i was on my way to school this morning and then when i got out my house there he was standing right there. then all of a sudden he starts punching me and i started to feel like i was dreaming. then when he finally stopped i went back to my house and i laid on my couch then i started to black out. i took a nap and i just woke up and i feel dreamy. what should i do?

Does anyone else out there suffer with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo? I received mine from a head injury in 2004. I went to the only doctor within a 50 mile radius who specializes in this but she was not in my network. Two visits cost me over 900.00 out of pocket, which is ridiculous. I know you can practice some of the manuevers such as the Epley and Semont, which I have tried with little success. I also find that my condition worsens later in the day, and by the time I am ready to drive home from work, I am so dizzy that I am afraid to get behind the wheel. Anyone know have any secret remedies or care to share your story?

Two days ago i went surfing and during the session i could feel a slight pain on my shoulder while paddling ( to be more exact when the arm is on the very top of the paddling movement). Then i went swimming the next day and had to stop because the pain wouldnt allow me to continue. What should i do ? i dont feel the pain while walking or anything else, only when going the circular movement.. i exactly dont have the best medical insurance, and im going snowboarding this weekend..

i have just been told i have this in ankle after 6 weeks of back n forth to doctors, and 3 other diagnosis,( inc ganglion, cyst and ligamnent damage)
can any one tell me what this is? i have to have physio justhave to wait for appt, ( 4-5 weeks waiting list)
but in mean time what should i do, its the tendon on top of foot- ankle, should it be straped up? what about best pain killers ect?

for some reason when i bend my arm for a period of time (writing, holding a drink, etc.) The place where my arm bend begins to hurt and my shoulder and my forarm feel kind of numb. also i get like shooting pains in my finger, like they are being shocked.
could this be a pinched nerve or poor circulation?

and it isnt affecting me whatsoever anymore. i can get notes from both the person i used to go to for physical therapy and my orthopedic surgeon stating that the problem has disapeared however i dont know weather i should bring this up at MEPS and with my recruiter or if i should just stay quiet. My ACL is not affecting me and is unnoticble how should i proceed

i know that there is a lack of blow flow to that region of the knee...but if there was a way to maybe help that, could it possibly heal? any other suggestions will be appreciated thanks...

The day before yesterday I was pulling up tile with an electric chisel (similar to a jackhammer), and the day after I started having wrist pain all of the sudden. The chisel seems like the cause but I'm not sure to what extent. I'm not sure weather its a sprain, carpal tunnel, or a fracture (but seems unlikely) Its like a "pulling" sensation. Its not painful but defiantly uncomfortable, and only when I move or twist my wrist. Touching has no effect. There has also been no obvious swelling or color changes. I do use the computer a lot so I thought it might be carpal tunnel rather than a sprain. Any ideas on what this could be?

ON MONDAY 12,2007 I GOT BEAT UP IN SCHOOL AND THEY BROKE MY JAW IN 3 DIFFRENT PLACES.. I WENT IN TO SURGERY ON THURSDAY AND IT WAS SUCCESFUL OF 4 HOURS SURGERY I WAS SCARED BECASUE MY INSURANCE WAS CAUGHT. BUT IT WAS REALLY NEEDED OR IT WAS GOING TO STAY LIKE THAT BROKEN... SO I TOLD MY DOCTOR THAT I WAS GOING TO PAY I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT I WILL... I NEED TO BARROW MONEY SOMETHING + I CAN'T WORK FOR 2 MONTH AND I PROMISE TO PAY BACK ASAP NO JOKE PLEASE I CAN'T EVEN HIRE A LAWYER TO PROPOSE TO MY CASE PLEASE I NEED SOMEONE HELP. I CAN'T EAT, MOVE MY HEAD OR BREATHE NORMAL AS MY TEETH ARE TIED TOGETHER AT LEAST FOR 3 MONTH TO RECOVER. PLEASE IN SOMEONE HEART PLEASE HELP ME.

yesterday i was washing a car when i was done i rolled up the hose real fast and the end of it whipped me one hard in the mouth,,,,my lip is real swolen.....my teeth hurt when i put ice on them and when i breath in cold air...hope it isnt bad...and my top tooth has a white thin thin line that i can only see if i put a light behind it....is the line bad? My botton tooth has the same but this line is more visible....what is going on? Fractured teeth?By the way my teeth are real small....=(

I have a scar on my hand that has healed except a small slit. The scar a result of accidently cutting my hand open and had surgery on it a year ago. The small slit concerns me for I think if something tugs too hard on it, it will split open again and this closed wound does go down to the bone. What type of doctor I see to close this up or ask about this?

I lift 15 pound weights and I punch a punching bag 20 minutes a day. I have developed pain inside of my shoulder under my deltoid (iam thinking rotator cuff). It does not hurt while I am lifting weights, but it does hurt when I try to lift my arm a certain way after doing specific arm exercises. Going through the day I only have a small pain when I put my arm at a more than 90 degree angle and move my arm to the side. This has been going on for a week now. Any advice?

ok i was playing my guitar, and i was doing a hammeron on the fretboard and something just snapped in the palm of my right hand. I kept playing but had to stop b/c it felt weird. Now my palm is swelling and my thumb wont stay straight, it doesnt hurt to much to type, but when I try to straighten my thumb it hurts.

Any ideas as to what I did? or what I can do? I figured i could just wear my arm brace like usual....since i have tendonitis in my left hand...lol
