Well, going to a doctor comes to mind. First, it depends on how long ago did you fall. If you just fell, you ice where you fell for the first 2 days. After that you turn to heating the area. You didn't say where you fell, just that you have pain in your butt and your knee is bothering you. Did you fall on both places. If you fell on your butt, odds are you just banged yourself and it is common to get pain from there down to your toes. With the heat on your back and a lot of non-asprin products and rest in bed for awhile you should be fine. With the knee, is it swollen, has it turned colors. It takes a lot to do real damage to your knee, you probably just bruised it. Again, start with the ice to try and bring down the swelling.
I don't know how you feel about alternative healing, but an accupuncturist would definetly help in your situation.

It never fails to amaze me how my fellow Brits will suffer pain, will leave themselves open to wonderful treatments suggested by self appointed Yahoo doctors but fail to drag themselves down to see a doctor of their choosing. A little secret for you all, it's free, not like when I saw a doctor in New Zealand and was chased down the street by a receptionist shouting out, "Your not in England now... come back and pay your bill!" NZ $35 for having a doctor look at my leg and tell me she had no idea what was wrong with it.................
