The day before yesterday I was pulling up tile with an electric chisel (similar to a jackhammer), and the day after I started having wrist pain all of the sudden. The chisel seems like the cause but I'm not sure to what extent. I'm not sure weather its a sprain, carpal tunnel, or a fracture (but seems unlikely) Its like a "pulling" sensation. Its not painful but defiantly uncomfortable, and only when I move or twist my wrist. Touching has no effect. There has also been no obvious swelling or color changes. I do use the computer a lot so I thought it might be carpal tunnel rather than a sprain. Any ideas on what this could be?

Also I want to point out that I have been wearing a wrist brace since yesterday. Earlier today I took it off and it felt slightly better (be it a bit stiff).

Really could be related to any one of those injuries you mentioned.
Of course, only a doctor and possible x-ray's can diagnose it correctly.

It's probably not going to go away on it's own...the wrist brace is nothing more than a temporary band-aid and will only give you temporary relief.

Best to set up a doctor's appointment...you could be risking further injury if left untreated.
I don't see where it's work-related so I hope you have some insurance coverage for just such an event.
Good luck!

If you were using a percussive tool there could be slight internal swelling. Try taking ibuprofen and see if that helps. Of it does you may want to take it for a few days then it should be fine. I've had something similar happen before.

it could be carpal tunnel, i think the vibration irritated it and caused the pain seek medical attention before it gets worse.
