and it isnt affecting me whatsoever anymore. i can get notes from both the person i used to go to for physical therapy and my orthopedic surgeon stating that the problem has disapeared however i dont know weather i should bring this up at MEPS and with my recruiter or if i should just stay quiet. My ACL is not affecting me and is unnoticble how should i proceed

I would tell them and go through the proper clearances to get in. From my past military experience and witnessing those around me who had come in with prior medical conditions, you can be removed from service and they won't pay for any recurring medical work needed if you didn't incur the injury while in force. Just tell them, work through the proper channels, and get in. If the problem arises again, you can allow the military to address it as they should and continue your career. I can say this, I don't know what service you are going into, but if it is Army or Marines, if anything IS going to rupture, tear, or break, it will probably happen in basic training and you don't want it to be from a past injury.

It's simple, if the recruiter or someone asks you about past injuries, surgeries, etc. then you mention it, otherwise, you don't. Don't volunteer the info unless they ask. The bottom line is...don't lie.
