Can tension headaches happen after all of the stressful days and tension have dissapeared for a while, b/c i think i have a tension headache right now. It is a mild pain that seems to be around my head and it doesn't affect my day to day activities and i have been having it for about 3 days now. But all of my stress has been from school and that was about 2 weeks ago. i had 3 tests and an assignment due in a span of 3 days. So are these tension headaches that i am having.

I have psoriatic arthritis and my knee is extremely swollen to the point of having no visible knee cap. The pain has also spread to the calf. Should I go have it looked at or just wait and see if the swelling goes down itself.

Since last night I have been having pain in my heart I think, it is right behind my left breast, its a quick very sharp annoying pain almost as if something is crawling thru my heart, but not crushing chest pain like everyone describes....what does that sound like? I have only ever had 2 migraines in my life so is this normal.......

One week ago today, I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I was told to take 2 Advil every 4 hours, as needed. I was also given some Percocet (1-2 pills every 4-6 hours).

As someone who is always leary of taking meds, I tried to avoid the percocet as much as possible. For one week now, I have been taking about 12 Advils a day (2 every 4 hours) -- roughly (2400 mg). Whenever possible I have tried to take 1 Advil (instead of 2) and there were a few periods where I would go an extra hour or two when I could bear it. I have 2 Dry Sockets on both lowers, so it has been pretty rough.

I went and saw the dentist again this morning and told him I was concerned that I had been taking 12 Advil a day for a week straight, and he said it was ok, but I have doubts.

I'm going to cut back to 1 pill at a time (200mg) and see if I can bear the pain of these dry sockets. I may actually switch to taking more Percoset to offset the amount of advil I have been taking.
