It's a head wound and they bleed like heck. Not only that, but it's not going to heal easily since you have to wash your head daily (can't put a plastic bag over your head to take a shower!).

Aside from that, if you don't get it stitched, you will have an ugly scar for the rest of your life. I know it's not financially viable right now, but it's best to just get it taken care of properly. Don't go to an emergency room, they will charge you an arm, a leg, and a kidney for the work. A normal clinic will have no problem with local anesthesia and sewing it up. Shouldn't cost more than $100 or so.

Go visit dad and show a nurse they will treat you there... also hospitals will bill you for treatment if you dont have the funding right now.... you can pay 5 dollars a month untill it paid off.... there are also clinics you could go see... look into it. but if i were you... DONT GLUE IT you be sealing in dirt and germs that could make it wayyy worse... ID go to the hospital visit dad and tel the nurse attending your father... shed help you get assistance.

You should go to the doctor and have it stitched to heal properly. If you cannot do that keep the area clean and put antibiotic cream on it to prevent infection. Maybe you could search the phone book for a free clinic and they could help you.

If you have a deep cut you need to see a dr. Because of the money issue check with your city's health dept to see if they offer free clinics. If not then I would recommend going to the ER (which would be the safest move to make because under federal law they can't refuse to treat you if you don't have enough money or no insurance).

I'm sorry about your dad being really sick. I hope he feels better soon.

Just go visit your dad at the hospital & show off your head to a nurse there.

IF I WAS THERE I WOULD PAY FOR YOUR TREATMENT, BUT I'M NOT, SO, GET SOME PEROXIDE, CLEAN THE WOUND AND AT LEAST PUT A BANDAGE ON IT, THAT'S NOT AS GOOD AS STITCHES, BUT IT WILL SURE HELP, GOOD LUCK.
