i found out monday that i had torn my ACL, so the doc put me in a brace and on crutches... they haven't done an MRI yet because of my insurance, to see how bad the damage is... it seemed like it was getting better yesterday... not much swelling, very little pain, but today as i was trying to get around i kept feeling my knee pop... it didn't hurt really, but just kept doing it... like i said i'm in a brace so i can't move it much but when i try to readjust myself in a chair or on the couch it does move some... now a couple of hours ago it really got to bothering me and it doesn't seem to want to ease up any... any suggestions...

I had the surgery a year ago. Although the pain in my legs has gone away, it seems as if I still have the same amount of pain/stiffness in my back.

whatever jaw joint on your face is right next to your ear, thats what hurts (on the left side of my face) Also, whatever is hurting the bone/joint in my face, its pulling (or pushing, i cant quite tell) on what feels like my inner ear, making my ear hurt whenever I close my mouth after opening it really wide, or chewing something hard.

I had a ruptured ear drum back in Feb. 2005, but I dont think its that. So whats wrong with me? Should I go to the Dr.? What should I do.

For the past 2 weeks I have been dealing with severe abdominal distention( my normal 27 inch waist is 36 inches!!), off and on upper abdominal pain, bowel movements that go from loose to constipation like back to loose and just plain feeling unlike myself. I've had 8 major abdominal surgeries over the past 15 years and have had 2 bowel obstruction in the past year. I had a CT scan two weeks ago which showed no obstruction but some "tethering" around my colon. Yet I'm still experincing these symptoms two weeks later... My PC is going have me see a GI and thinks I should have a Colonoscopy. I'm wondering if this all could be caused by Adhesion's? Are adhesions visable on CT scans? Does anyone else have any ideas???

I have realized that it could have probaly been avoided if I kept up a pace meaning I started the track running towards the front of the pack and ended up towards the back by the time I was finished.

This ever happen to you?

Any way to speed up the so recovery? Or do I have to just wait for the stiff feel to go away?

I was an active basketball player when I was younger and would constantly sprain my ankles. I would sprain the right more often. Now I can always tell when I'm about to ovulate cause I would get shooting pains in my right ankle. Is that actually feasibly possible.

high to cover the cost of it and that you have to wait a long time for care because of it being universal. Is that the case-please tell me about it and why it is good or not so good!

For example, if you ate chicken, then had cake, and then you had a sandwich, would you vomit up the sandwich first, and when the sandwich is all gone, the cake, and then the chicken?
Or is there still a bunch of sandwich left by the time you get to seeing the chicken?
I guess my question is, if I vomit and I see my chicken, is my cake and sandwich completely out of me?

I have had this headache on and off for the past 2 weeks. The pains shoot up from the back of my neck to the top of my head. Then it just sets there and throbs on the top of my head.
It hurts behind my eyes and makes it hard to focus..

Sometimes I can pull my hair where it is hurting and it will relieve some of the pressure.

I have taken Excedrin, tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tylenol 3 with codiene and other stuff... and nothing has really worked.. Do you recommend anything?

I broke both my legs in a motocross accident last May. My left leg got broke in 4 places including shattering my knee joint. Had to get a knee replacement(I am 35 years old) Everytime the weather changes this legs aches so bad I almost cry. Will it get better over time or is this something I will have to deal with? Will it get worse? If so, what can I do for the pain? Thanks

The part of my skull directly behind my ears, from the top of my ear to the bottom of my earlob, is very tender and sore?

It feels like there is a bone there, but why would the bone hurt so badly? It has been like this on and off for a couple of years, but just recently got worse.

I also have jaw and neck pain, and my ears get turn really red and feel really hot every once in a while. Why is this?

I'm a student, and sat down yesterday and wrote 17 pages of notes on a 3x5 index card (which is allowed for tests in my class). This probably took me about 6 hours, and I'm sure that my shoulder was scrunched while I was trying to write as small as I could.

I remember my right thumb (I'm right-handed) being numb after I had finished last night, and it's still numb today. No pain-more the tingly feeling that you get when your foot falls asleep. Only on the pad of the thumb. What's going on?
