high to cover the cost of it and that you have to wait a long time for care because of it being universal. Is that the case-please tell me about it and why it is good or not so good!

Better than what? Better than the American system?

Heck NO!

The reasons why would take PAGES to explain. Waiting times are one major reason Canada's system is not so great. 80% of Canadians live within 100 miles of America and MANY of them travel to the States for elective surgeries and other procedures that they would have to wait months for at home.

Universal Health Care sound great on paper, but there's no such thing as a free lunch (or doctor's visit). Someone has to pay.

The system in America has many problems, but the solution is NOT letting the government take charge. Socialism doesn't work. It never has and it never will.
