I was wrestling yesterday and today my neck is very stiff and when i try turning my head to the left it doesnt really want to do it. It sort of feels like there is an invisible barrier there. Any idea what is wrong and what i should do ?

You have probably injured a muscle in your neck. If you are able to turn past the "barrier" with a little discomfort then it's probably muscle strain. If you are unable to turn past the "barrier" you may have dislocated a bone in your cervical spine. if the first option is true take some tylenol or advil and use a muscle rub like sportscreme until it feels better. If the second option is true go your local emergency room or emergent care center.

You probably have a bit of whip lash, so treat with ice if you don't have an ice pack use a frozen bag of peas or corn. 20 minutes on 20 off and take an anti inflammatory such as Ibuprofen. Good luck
