That is the typical defination of a migraine. It usually is the start of one. If it is a full blown migraine you will also experience light sensitivity. You may experience nauseau, aversion to sounds, dizziness, and see an aura.

Try Excedrin. It is a great over the counter cure. Don't have any sugar it'll make it worse. If it is a migraine you will probably need medication. I have a prescription med called Amidrine and it works great!

Home remedy is to stick hands under hot water, it'll bring the blood flow from your head to your hands. It is only temporary though.

One Sided Heached could mean tension headache, stressed, and maybe a migrane. Try laying down for about 2 hours to see if the pain will go away, or try some advil is good, excedrin. Do migranes run in your family? How long have you had this headache? I know about this because I experienced this. Headaches also can come from not wearing glasses, when was the last time you had an eye exam. If it persist, go to the dr and maybe he might request a Ct-Scan. You dont want to play around with this.

I get these, it feels like an ice pick in the side of your head, usually on the left. I usually go to bed, try to avoid laying on the side that hurts. An ice pack will help too.

Your headache could be migraine, and the best treatment solutions are in homeopathy or ayurveda. To rule out some other serious problems, do visit a doctor if you can. Once it is diagonsed as migraine, I would recommend homeopathy or ayurveda.

Wish you quick recovery
