Why not call the doc and talk to his nurse and let her know what is going on. She will call you back and tell you what the doc would like you to do.

With chest pain you DO want to call the doctor even if it turns out to be nothing. If it turns out to be something it may be too late if you wait.

Women don't usually get the crushing chest pain men get when they have heart attacks. 30% of women don't experience any pain at all prior to the attack- and 43% don't experience any pain DURING the attack!

However, that means that 57% do experience pain, and that pain may not be like the pain men have.

There are also ethnic differences in how heart attacks present themselves.

Don't take any chances.

If what u feel is true then logically by the time u read this u should be in the ICU.Never try to skirt a pain in that area. It may be a bad case of gastric pain but overlooking it is plain foolhardiness!

chest pain is not always an AMI. for a breif per. of time heart tissues might not be getting enough O2. this pain is called an angina. an angina can result from a spams of the artery, it can also be a symptom of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. i cant be for sure but if i were you i'd go to a doctor. even if its nothing you should make sure.

A lot of people die needlessly because they fear the doctor. My father refused to go to a doctor and he passed out and had a mild stroke and was taken to the hospital with HBP. All he needed was to get his blood pressure down, but it took a traumatic event to get him medical care. Chest pains can be caused by anxiety, indigestion, and gas but it could be coronary disease. If it continues you need to see a doctor whether you want to go or not.

It's better to call or go to the doctor for nothing then to not do so for something.

If your heart is involved, don't take any chances. Better safe then sorry.
