General Health Care - March 2007

ive had an extremely bad migrane since the fourth of this month and even if i take 1600 mg of ibprophin it still wont go away completely. i fly to arizona on the 19th to see my son before he is shipped to iraq and i want to have a good time and i dont want this migraine to slow me down or even stop me from doing the things i want to do before he goes please can someone help

Last night i was making cookies and when they were in the oven i sat down and i got a really bad head ache. It was about 8:00. Then I started getting really hot then really cold and my head ache got worse, that went on for about and hour. My head still hurt a lot, but onlywhen I moved it. I finally went to bed and forgot about the head ache but i felt like i was going to throw up. What happened? Something similar to this happened when i was little but it was in the summer and it wasn't as bad. HELP!!! please f.y.i i'm 13 years old.

Just recently this morning my bladder area was sore, felt like muscle soreness, but within an hour later it developed into sharp and horrific soreness pain. Have no idea why, only exercise i'v done recently was only 30 situps yesterday. Any ideas?

This is a stupid question. But i want to know how to break my wrist via trampoline. can i have someone stand on it and it will break. Please just answer there is a reason behind it all. The easiest would be if someone stood on my wrist, but will that for sure break it. my wrist are really small for my body. I can put my pinky and thumb around my wrist and they touch.

my cousin broke or fractured her wrist i dont know which one. I already asked this question but i want to rephrase it. We where playing on the trampoline. She kicked my brother and then my brother pinned her down. He used his knee to keep one hand down. Then i guess he put all his weight on her wrist and it broken or was fractured. Do you think it is possible for a 5'11 200lb. boy to break a 5'9 150lb. girls wrist that way?

I got an industrial cartilage piercing a few days ago or more and I've been cleaning it twice a day with Lever 2000 but its still oozing and crusty. Is this normal? And if not, what should I clean it with? Should I put peroxide on it? I don't want to get a keloid!

Obviously, every person in ahome should be able to dial the Emergency Number with clear instructions and a First Aid kit in homes is always a good idea, but what natural household products can be used for First Aid?

I know pepper can be used for cuts, aloe for burns (after it's been under running cold water for at least 10 minutes) but are there more?

I'm pretty much addicted to " Purell Hand Sanitizer " But today when I went to rub it on my shoulders, since I use my shoulders to close light switches.

Then alittle less than a pea size amount splashed on to my lip and my reaction was to lick it off.. Yeah, how stupid was I. Now is this much of a risk, I didn't taste anything, It may of been my imagination or some spit, but If it really did happen, would I be harmed?

there is this think layer of yellow substance (it is like another layer of skin) on top of my wound. i try to tear it, but it seems to be glued to my wound/flesh beneath. and i noticed some big red pore-like pimples in some areas where the yellow substance has flaked off. it has been 2 weeks and no noticeable changes. i try duoderm gel on it, and the gel oftens turns yellow at the end of the day, seems like it is able to absorb it. but the thick yellow layer is still there. what is this thing forming on my wound? do i have to remove it somehow as it seems like stopping my wound from healing.

i was standing on a wobbly stool ( i know really stupid idea) trying to change a lightbulb when i overeached and slipped off.
But as i fell i smacked my arm against the coffee table,about 2 minutes later my arm had swollen up and was very painful to move i had a sling and badages at home so i used them to strap my arm up but today it is really painful and still swollen.
does anyone have any idea what i jave done to my arm?
