Last night i was making cookies and when they were in the oven i sat down and i got a really bad head ache. It was about 8:00. Then I started getting really hot then really cold and my head ache got worse, that went on for about and hour. My head still hurt a lot, but onlywhen I moved it. I finally went to bed and forgot about the head ache but i felt like i was going to throw up. What happened? Something similar to this happened when i was little but it was in the summer and it wasn't as bad. HELP!!! please f.y.i i'm 13 years old.

This sounds like a classic migraine: nauseous, painful headache, comes on suddenly.

You are 13, and there is a link between migraines and puberty.

Ask Mom to take you to the doctor for an an evaluation and a script for migraine medicine when the headaches become too painful.

sounds like a migraine. it helps if u go in a dark room or place a sheet over ur head cause the light can make it worse and with a wet flannel on your head and go to sleep for a few hours. it can be caused by eating cheese or chocolate or even bright lights or the heat. i have the same problem but mine is from the heat and lights.
Gd luck anyways.

Symptoms sound similar to a vertigo attack I had a few weeks ago. I went to sleep as usual, but I woke up with the whole room spinning, sweating like a pig, cold, then hot, then I vomited...then I called 911 and got my *** to the emergency room ASAP! I'd recommend you do the same! Go see a doctor! Don't fool around with something like that!

It sounds like a migraine headache to me, or maybe even something related to blood sugar. Did you also feel dizzy or light headed? that would be a sign of blood sugar imbalance. I think you should gert to a doctor for a check up...they can do blood work to see whats up with yor blood sugar., and you can talk about migraines. Good luck. I know it's scary

Tell your Mom. Were you eating the cookies? Maybe too much sugar. It may be you are having a migraine. Ask Mom to take you to the doctor.

you might have a flu or from being close to the oven since it's very hot can cause a person to faint which mainly sounds like it. I would also double check with the doctor.

Sounds like a migraine. Hormones in girls can trigger these. There are a lot of other causes too.

Sometimes headaches just happen, there isn't always a reason you can find. If it becomes a pattern, see your doctor.

Well, I'm not a doc.

I strongly advise you to go visit the doc. It could be serious. A sever headache for a 13 year old is not a rosey thing...^_^

GET WELL SOON!!
