One night when we were all fast asleep, my fifteen-year old daughter suddenly got up, wailing in pain telling me that an ant went inside her ear and it's really hurting as it walks inside. She tried to use the ear pick to try to get the ant out but to no avail. We suggested to blow smoke from the cigarette to kill the ant but the thought of making go further inside or die made us think twice it might be more difficult to get it out. Good enough, after a while, she felt the ant was walking toward the outer ear and I saw it came outside naturally. My worry is if it happens again to any of us, what must be done at once while in the house??

I read about chest pain questions.
its been a week i had severe chest pain on the right side everytime i was burping..otherwise..i dont have pain...
somehow i started to burp slowly...to avoid the pain?!..
this week...its gone...but today it came back!?
maybe i had caught cold? exposed to cold weather/windy/snowy? or is it the stressful time i am going through these manifesting this way?!...one other thing...its been a while am eating peanuts regularly everynight before going to bed?! ...

ps i dont have asthma

My left leg has been hurting an awful lot. The right one is slightly sore, but it hurts just to think about walking on the left one. I was running a lot Friday night, but most of the time I catch up on overworked muscles within 36 hours.

The back of my calf hurts when I pull it perpendicular to my leg. Any suggestions as to what this might be?

For the past two days I have had a very weird pain in my thigh. It feels sort of tingly and is painful when I take a step on that leg. There are no visible signs of anything being wrong and I was wondering if this could be a blood clot. My sister had Factor V Leiden (causes blood clots) and it is hereditary. Also, I am pregnant and I know that increases the risk. Has anyone ever had a clot in their leg? What did it feel and look like?

I have had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) for the past year and a half and now after several surgries I have almost all of my pain resolved and I want to go back into Figure Skating again. I was a competitor and really into it before I got my CRPS, and now I want to go back into it, but I don't know if I should because if I were to move a lead from my Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) I would be in pain again because that SCS is what blocks my pain. What does anybody think about this who has figure skated/dealt with CRPS/or is medical professional. I've talked with my doctor and he's pretty much left it open to me to decide and I don't know what to do can anybody give me some advice?

I have several cuts/scratches on my arm in one area, and i need to know the fastest way for them to heal without scarring ( I would like to wear short sleeves this summer! :-) ) They are not very deep at all, and are kind of almost like cat scratches, I have tried keeping gauze taped over it with neosporin over the scratches, but everytime I take them off to change it, I end up pulling skin off where the medical tape was, thus worsening the problem. For surface wounds, is a bandage even neccessary? They don't bleed at all, and are already closed. If a bandage and antibiotic would lessen the chances of scarring, I'll just deal with it. Thanks :-D

I get migraines at least once a month, usually right towards the end of my period. As the headacheis about to end, the pain changes from a sickening throb to a really sharp stabbing pain, and then I hear/feel a popping sensation at the back of my skull. Once this happens, the headache disappears within moments and I am left feeling a bit dizzy. Does anyone else deal with this?

I was skating last night and while i was doing a trick and i smashed my toe.

How long will it take for my toenail to fall off?

ok so 2 weeks ago i was playig basketball and i jammed my finger really bad..it hurt a lot and it was really swollen i couldn't close my fist. now, it's not swollen anymore, but there's like a slight deformation on the side..it's like bone grew there because it's really solid. it still hurts especially when i grab things or if i play basketball. is the deformation ever going to go away?

Well you see I am a wide user of many types of drugs (nothing too hard such as heroin and what not) but I am a user of Marijuana and some other pharmaceutical pills. I still live with my parents and the other day I found a bottle of Xanax (.5 mg) bars and I've always been curious about Xanax. The bottle wasn't empty but only had about 18 bars left and I stole 5 of them... I'm scared my parents are going to find out about the missing tabs, maybe they won't, but if they do what's a good lie to tell them about how they are missing? They suspect that I do some drugs but they don't really mind it, my brother is 19 and always does pills (especially Xanax) and I would say maybe he took them, but he doesn't live here anymore and hardly ever visits.

and don't tell me I need help, because I have alot of self control and don't view my drug use as a problem at all.
