We where playing on my trampoline two weekends ago and my cousin broke or fractured her wrist. She said that my brother had his knee on her wrist. She is about 150 and 5'9 and he is 5'11 and 200 what do you think. Do you think that putting all the weight on one wrist will hurt break or fracture it?

her wrist was lying down with the back of the hand on the trampoline and he put his knee on it and put all his weight on that point.

Sure it could if he landed on it just right. Ouch, it makes me hurt just thinking about it. It was due to the extra force of his weight when he was coming down on it that most likely did it. It was like having extra weight come down on it, since he was up in the air and then he came down on it. It packed more of a punch, by his having been up in the air and then coming down.

Kind of like dropping some thing off a building and watching the force it would take on by the time it hit. Only not quite that dramatic.

It depends on how he hit her wrist, because your wrist has strong and weak points, if icing it doesnt help or wrapping it for about a week, then go to the doctors and get it scanned.

Depends on more variables. The mass gives no indication of energy released upon impact with out knowing the acceleration of the body. But it is possible with out a doubt.
