I am a high school track runner, and I've been having this weird minor pain in my right hip/groin area for about a month now. It doesn't bother me too much, and it only hurts when I walk, and sometimes it doesn't hurt at all. The weirdest thing is it doesn't hurt in the least when I run. Running actually makes it NOT hurt. Like I said, this has been going on for about a month, and I've been running on it (it's pretty much nonexistant when I'm running) and it hasn't gotten any worse, but I am a little concerned that it hasn't gone away yet. It's very minor pain, but I'm worried about it getting worse, and I don't want to stop running. Anyone have any incite on what this weird random twinge is? Should I be concerned about it?

i have taken care of several different seniors in the past most have went into nursing homes or past away my last client past away 2 weeks ago i had her for 4 years. i do in home care shopping, cleaning, errands etc.like i said, ive been doing this for several years and i enjoy it very much. i even have just been a companion for some as well to just sit and talk to them eat with them watch rv with them.so if anyone knows plz let me know. thanks so much!!

I live in a rented apartment building in Canada, it is owned by a large company. Last Saturday (1 week ago) i was leaving for work at 5.45 AM, If you live in Canada and you are reading this you would know that last weekend there was freezing rain, as i left the entrance, i fell on the glassy ice and banged my head hard, i felt dazed, i went to the hospital who examined me and discharged me, the past week, i have felt, weak exhausted, had bad headaches, the 3 following days after the fall, my jaw hurt, my forehead, i was told this was caused by the impact of the brain being pushed forward, as i hit my head on the back, my neck muscles hurt badly, i have felt nausea.
I work part time and have not been able to work, i was due this weeknd to work 2 shifts but have felt too unwell.
Today i went back to the hospital as 1 week had passed since my fall, and i was still feeling unwell, the doctor there checked me out again and i had a CT scan, luckily there was no internal beeding or fracture

i have just been doing netball trials last 2 days, and my knee is really sore when i run now and sometimes walk (kind of below the knee cap and a bit around the sides), which sucks because i didn't do well at the trials. I play tennis and go walking and play other sports too, and ive just started doing more exercise latley, and im 14.
do you know what it is and what i can do about it?
i still want to play sport!
o and my mum doesnt want to take me to the doctors but im not sure.. becuase the doctor could just think its something stupid and minor!
i dont know! please help.

It's been 10 days now since I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed (at age 32). I'm not sure if I ever had dry sockets since the surgeon didn't quite say that I did, but I was in so much pain on days 3-5 on the lowers that he packed them with a clove oil formula and that pretty much took the pain away.

The pain came back within 2 days though, and I went back in. He asked if I wanted to re-pack or leave as-is. He implied that it might be better to not pack them, so I passed and just dealt with more pain for the last two days.

The two lower dry socket areas do feel somewhat better recently, but I still have a lot of jaw pain in general, and even my teeth/gums are sore on the top of my mouth. Could this all be from the lower dry sockets still, or is it possible that my teeth are now shifting?

My wife just thinks I am being a baby about all of this (since hers came out without issue when she was 18), but this is pretty much Hell ...

Many years ago I injured my ankle, and ever since then it has had a tendency to swell. My Dr. says I have arthritis from the injury. This has gotten worse, so that now at the end of the day I have a grapefruit-sized ankle. It doesn't really hurt alot, but is very painful to the touch if I press on that joint bone. Anything I can do to keep it from swelling like this?

i noticed it a few days ago, i thought it was just an insect bite, it hurt a bit.

I'm 17 and just to put short....I hate my eyes! When I was smaller kids would make fun of me because of my eyes. My eyes are a very light grey which look blue-ish sometime with many flecks of hazel and green....weird I know and I hate it!! I've tryed contacts but I find them very uncomfortable....what can I do to....somehow get them normal? a brown or something? PLEASE HELP!!!

every time i lift my knee up my hip flexor pops and when i run my hip feels fine but after soccer practice it hurts and ive had this problem before but not the poping thing and last time it was just a strained hip flexor could it be something different?

I only know that because I did it on my other ankle a few years ago and it tore. This feels similar, but not like I completely tore it I walked on it all day, went to work (I have a really physical job) and just took my sock off when my husband was horrified at how swollen it is....can this wait till monday or do I have to go to the ER? I am at a 2 or 3 on the pain scale.

Last week, i was exercising and turned my ankle. It didn't bother me right away. It started hurting me 2 days later while walking my dog. It hurt so badly i could barely get home. It was swollen and i could barely do anything. IT's been bothering me all week, is still swollen, and hasn't gotten any better. I have sharp sudden pains, then it throbs, especially when i move it a certain way. Ive been wrapping it and icing it all week, and trying to stay off it. it's been bad though, and not getting better. I also have to carry 30 lbs of books every day during school, so that makes it worse. What more should i do? How long should a sprain take to heal?? Any other advice on what i should do? Thanks.

Both my mother and I have been cashiers at some point. And the both of us have gotten tendonitis from it in both forearms. I atually got Carpal Tunnel syndrome just before the tendonitis set in. She hasn't been a cashier in more than a decade but her arms are still clearly suffering as she can't put any strain on them before they hurt again. Mine started a yeas ago and I worked 6 months on them before I had to quit. I too can't pinch something and either lift it or move my arm without intense pain. I also can't do much lifting or say carrying home groceries without the pain lasting for another few days. Will we EVER get over this? Any rememdies?

I got stitches in my finger after i accidentally cut it with an exacto knife. My mom took the stitches out because she is a nurse, but there is still a part left in there. It is the part where the stitch goes under the skin. i was afraid for her to pull it out and it still hasn't been pulled out. How long can i keep it in? What will happen if i never take it out? Will it work its way out eventually? How bad will it hurt?

She had been sick this whole week and my sister had been there every day. They told my sister that her blood work suggested she had an infection of some sort and they did an x-ray (said it was clear). This was Wed. a.m. and the doctor there prescribed antibiotics. They were never given to her!
This morning two of my sisters called an ambulance and now she is thankfully in the hospital but she has pneumonia, a severe bladder infection (her urine looke liked coffee!) and her blood was way too thin.
She may not make it and I can deal with this since she is in poor health and 82, but that is rediculous that they hadn't given her any antibiotics as prescribed and hadn't even checked her urine!
We aren't ones to sue but something should be done, shouldn't it?
Advice?

Yesterday i posted a question asking people to pray for my family. (if you want the details please read my question) Anyway, my uncle died and my aunt is a complete mess. No matter waht we tell her, "he's not suffering any more", "he is with God now", "he is still with us in spirit" nothing works. she just starts crying. She is taking Zanex? would that be right? a nerve pill, anyway, is there ANYTHING to say or do for her to help her get through this. If you want to, read my other question here-

I also sometimes have this weird thing going on with my heart where it feels like is suddenly jolted or stopped for like a milli second. what is this? it doesnt feel very serious but its still a bit concerning to me.
