My husband has a dull pain on his right side. I think it would be the right side of his stomache. Any way after he eats he feels this dull pain off and on, Does anyone have idea what could be wrong with him?

Sounds to me like a Gallbladder issue.

The galbladder is located on the right side of the abdomen just behind and at the border of the ribcage.

He should see a doctor. Does he have right shoulder pain too? A lot of times, people will have pain referral to the right shoulder with Gallbladder issues

This sounds like how my gallbladder problems started. Does the pain also happen in his shoulder and in the middle of his upper back occasionally? The nerves from the gallbladder go all the way to the shoulder.
This is very serious if never treated! While a person can live with gallstones, it takes a Doctor and an ultrasound to know IF that's possible. If the pains become sharp, have him get checked right away. I waited until mine was infected and almost died! Don't let him be ashamed to get checked.

It could be his gallbladder. He should get it cheked out, untreated gallbladder can lead to gallstones. They are NOT FUN. I have a dear friend who sounded similar to what you're saying and now he is going to have the gallbladder and stones out.Good luck to the hubby.
