If you have soreness on one side and you cannot move you neck then you would be ill advised to go to a gymnastics meet. I would assume that you have pulled muscle in the neck or that the cervical vertebrae are seriously out of alignment. You could further damage your neck and the nerves that come through the vertebrae. It sounds like you have a serious cervical problem and should seek advice immediately from your family physician and he should order some scans of your cervical region.

You really should have some help getting to the bottom of this problem. I would suggest a physical therapist who is certified in either orthopedics or sports physical therapy (OCS or SCS after their name). They will help to relieve your symptoms, and help you get back to going at your gymnastics full-speed again.

Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area.

Good luck!

1-take ibuproffen
2-take a hot shower and let the water run on it or put a warm wet towel on that side
3-any stretching should be leaning your head side to side- avoid any twisting of yur neck.

Go to a chriopractor! they will do wonders, if you find a good one.
