It's most likely a canker/cold sore. They can be caused by stress, hormone fluctuations (for females, around menstrual period), lack of sleep and poor eating habits. I would purchase Abreva, which is an over-the-counter topical cream you apply to your cold sore (not for use in genital sores). Abreva is the only OTC approved by the FDA. It actually helps reduce the flare up and healing time. It is expensive, but so worth the expense. It should be in any drug store in the lip care section. You can also take Lysine 500mg, an OTC supplement available in most drug stores, one to two times a day. Lysine may help reduce the size of the sore. Try to take the Lysine the minute you feel a sore coming on. Apply the Abreva immediately as well.
If a sore doesn't heal within a week, go to the doctor! If OTC products don't work, talk to your doctor about Valtrex or acyclovir. Both these medications can help reduce the severeness of outbreaks.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about three yrs ago, whilst I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand loads of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/0RI2e everything improved.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

It just might be a fever blister and it's a coincidence that it came up after eatting sushi. Go to the drugstore and buy *carmex*. It'll dry it up in a couple of days.

Ewww. Sounds like herpes... But is probably just a reaction to something you ate... You got ahold of some bad fishy... Try Mr. Sushi. He's the best... oh, and stop going down on all those hookers... That would also solve the problem. Kirk out.
