General Health Care - February 2007

Has anyone else taken this drug? I'm on it, I forgot how many mg, but are there any wierd side effects like weight gain or insomnia? Does it work fine for neuralgia?

At random times during the day and at random intervals two of the toes on my left foot will go numb (the two directly to the right of the smallest toe). It almost feels like something is tied around the base of them, almost like a sock with a hole in it and you slip a toe through it by accident. It has really never concerned me very much but I wonder if it's something that requires an appointment with a doctor. I've never had any back problems or neck problems/injuries. I almost think maybe its just nerve damage. but please, any solutions or diagnosis would be greatly appreciated.

I feel headache at the back side of my head whenever I have heated arguments or I am in stress.This happend once in 2/3 weeks.Should I go for a Brain CT scan for this.If yes which one should I go for? Is there is any side affects like hair fall?Also please let me know the cost associated with this and ECG (for Heart) as well.

I have sciatica, real bad. My problem is narcotic pain meds work real good for the pain but I am very busy building a financial business and I need to be sharp when I talk to people and not "looped" on pain meds and most times normal pain relievers can't touch the pain. What can be done?

friday: i woke up fine. fine during the day. then around 8 i started having sharp stomach pains in all different areas of the stomach. i couldnt sleep all night. woke up several times to throw up, but i couldnt., because i hadnt eaten anything.

saturday: woke up with no pain. some pain during the day in upper stomach and lower abdomen on the right.

which has continued for 3 days.

what should i do?

It scares me it started once every 3 months then it was once a month now is everyday throughout the day. I dont know know what is. It comes and goes it will last seconds. Does any one know these symptoms or what it is?

Hi.I am 13 years old and have trouble sleeping.I do sports and suceed acadimically but I tend to mill over things at night.I might get into bed,turn the lights ot,and close my eyes at 10 but don't actually fall asleep until 12 or later.My father also has trouble getting to sleep.I am constantly tired at school.What is wrong with me and how can I fall asleep faster?

i recently bought some boots for a job. Ive been wearing them for only to days. So i had an ovarian cyst that ruptured last month and I was in the hospital for it they just noticed i had clear pelvic fluid in me and they said it would just deteriate after time. About two weeks ago I had my period and it was so bad the cramps were two days before my period and even after and now Im just feeling pain like near my lower pelvic area. Ive been checked at by the gyno though 2 weeks ago and last week they did an ultrasound. They said there isnt anything in my pelvic region. I told my doctor about the pain and he said it could be IBS because I have been under so much stress for the last month and a half. I also heard it may be chronic pelvic pain. I just dont know what to think about it. I also once was using q-tips for 2 weeks to check my discharge to see for any unsualness going on. I just dont know what to think.

I've had pain in my side for going on about a month and a half. It's on my right side slightly under my ribs. I went to the doctor over it and she said it was just an infection and I took some antibiotics for it and it still hurts. It's not a killer pain but enough to cause me discomfort. Sometimes it hurts when I'm hungry, sometimes it hurts after I've eaten. I don't have the money to really get the tests done I probably need to but I just want to know what's causing it. If you need any more info just ask and I'll post it.

are lortabs considered a drug? i like them they make me feel great but i do not have a presciption i buy them from people who do but they are like my drug i do not take like alot at once but i take atleast 2 a day? am i stupid for doing this ? anyone else have this problem? should i see a counselor?

i layed down and looked at the clock and it was 3:55 and i heard laughing and i closed my eyes and opened them and i tried to move and i was dead numb!!! my breath was also gone and my heart rapidly slowed down, it felt like i was drugged numb or something, this lasted for about 10-15 seconds, wat is this? and then i checked the time and i was 3:57 almost 4:00 so this is not a dream

Is it possible to know if you lack oxygen without a monitor thing? I remember being in the hospital and the nurses pressing lightly on my nail, does this work, if yes how do u do it and what should you see?

And how do you know if your circulation is bad, i pressed on my fingers on my left arm because it has been feeling numb and they didint turn pinkish or red. Does that mean anything??

I smoked "full time" for over 5 years. I was able to cut back almost completely, but I just can't seem to give up cigarettes while drinking with friends! Cigarettes disgust me any other time, but after a drink or two, I can't say no! Any advice?
