Stress is one of the things that causes muscles to tense up. Take a swig of molasses it has the magnesium and potassium that will help.
For a full explanation and way to help yourself not have the muscles tight enough to go there so quickly read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It deals with muscles, pain and referred pain with a 75% over all success rate for the inexpensive cost of $20.00.

The CT and MRI of your "brain" would have imaged all of the structures in your head and neck--not just the brain. There are some protocols to enhance what the provider is trying to exclude-like stroke, tumor, aneurysm, etc. However sinusitis would have been able to be detected. ERs are designed to diagnose and treat emergencies--that why you got some major heavy duty and expensive tests but not necessarily a diagnosis. Most people get upset when they leave an ER without a diagnosis or prescription of some sort. Now that you know that you don't have the things that were excluded at the ER, if you are still having the headaches, you should make an appointment w/ your regular provider who should be able to take the time to ask more questions and hopefully make a diagnosis. A big help would be for you to make a headache diary. Write down when you have a headache and any possible triggers (foods, time of day, blood pressure...) Hope you get some relief soon.

Be calm and do not get in to heated argument.

Do not need EKG or Brain scan.

See a doctor, give you Valium to calm you after the argument but watch it habit forming.
