I have a lot of problems I am dealing with best as I can,
caused by other "people" & I therefore suffer a lot of tension headaches.
Rather than live on Nurofen, is there a technique I can use myself to massage my head which will relieve the tension?

Well i noticed that when i sit down in a chair or sit down on the floor for over 30 minutes, my right leg locks up. Its not sleeping i know that for sure. If I try to stand up or move that right leg it feels like a very very very bad cramp.

What is this?

Anyone know what I can do on my own to assist this?

thanks.

actually, my leg just locked up while typing this out. haha so an answer would be most appreciated.

Ive been suffering for sometime with a severe pain in my right elbow/tendon. Having tried various treatments from my GP, I have been now been advised to attend an Acupuncture Clinic. I had the first one yesterday and wonder what the chances of success may be and how long I should wait before seeing any benefit?

I had open carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, My right hand in Dec.2002 and my left in March 2003. I didn't have any trouble healing from either one but not I have pain in my left hand, the side of my hand near my pinky finger is real sore and the palm of my hand hurts a lot, it almost feels like I have a pinched nerve. I sometimes have pain in my shoulder and elbow but most of the pain is in the hand. I can not put any pressure on the hand either. Could this be a pinched nerve or scar tissue? if so how is it corrected?

It's been four years since I had surgery. I dislocated my knee, andI tore my ACL, LCL, and MCL and had to have the tendon on the front on my knee used to help restore the tendon on the side of my knee. Unfortunately, I still can't put any pressure on this knee. There's too much pain. I walk perfectly fine, but I can't stand on my knees or anything like that. I'm only 22! Are there any exercises that could help strengthen the weakened area, or am I up the creek without a paddle?

Happened all of a sudden today. And they are not cheap rings, rather expensive ones in fact. My diamond ring (engagement) and another 3 stone diamond ring. All of a sudden looked at my hands today and both were dark colored on my ring fingers and part of the fingers that touch the rings on the other fingers.

I fell whilst snowboading and have very sore ribs on the upper left side, it hurts to brethe deeply and is sore to touch. I think they may be bruised or broken but my big worry is that i have punctured my lung, I am catching a plane in 5 days so don't want to take any risks with that. I am in a fairly remote place and not a lot of english is spoken so any advice would be great, cheers

Hi. I just had my second surgery ever. (tonsils). And I am on pain meds (that I no longer need anymore). Liquid Hydrocodone 10mgs. My sleep schedule is off and I need to get to sleep. Last night the only way for me to sleep was to take my pain meds. The same thing happened to me last time I was on them. I couldn't sleep without them. Anyone know any other alternatives for me to get to sleep? I need to be up early tomorrow morning for a followup doctors appointment. Please help.

I'm 22 and I've had a dull aching pain in both my knees off and on for the last 2 months but it seems to be more frequently lately. Its seem to be worse when I'm sitting. Does anybody have an idea of what this could be? I plan on seeing a doctor soon if it doesn't get any better

I just took both,...

The Percocet is a Prescription,.. it's just they pumped me full of pain meds and that didn't take care of this one thing when I wa sin the hospital. We (me, my mom, nurses, and friends) are thinking I tore/damaged some muscles. So I thought I would take Asprain to see if an Anti Inflamatory would help.

It has, but I would like to know if this is safe or if there is anything I should be aware of.
