You might have a cold that has caused a lot of post-nasal drip to irritate the sensitive skin of your throat. Perhaps, you have been coughing alot, or snoring at night because your nose is stuffy. It could be a lot of things...chloroseptic sprays and cough drops can help with the pain, and treating any sinus or chest congestion problems can help alleviate the symptom altogether.
