Lyrica is an excellent drug for neuropathic pain. Even though it is helping some, the dose may not be high enough. It is a medication that you have start on a low dose with gradual titration upward to an effective dose. Max dose is around 600mg per day, but talk to your doctor before going that high. You may also want to consider getting a cervical epidural steroid injection. Ask for a referral to an interventional pain management specialist to have this done.

Help yourself - Read a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It deals with muscles, pain and referred pain (they will be involved with any bone problem). Make use of a chiropractor who uses an activator NOT one who does manual manipulation. The difference is the activator is like a mini plunger with an end like the door stop you screw in to your wall to keep the handle from denting the wall, it is used beside not on the bone to loosen the muscle and help the bone move by itself back in to place.
