i recently bought some boots for a job. Ive been wearing them for only to days. There not uncomfortable or anything, but i started getting this pain in my right knee on the leftside i dont know if its just getting used to the extra weight or if im creating a problem... I just want a few opinions, i havent worn boots in 17 years and im 20 so pretty much never

It is possible that it is the type of boots. Before going out and buying a different pair try buying some supported insoles and see if that helps with the discomfort. If not try buying a new pair of boots with better support.

There is a good chance the muscles in your upper leg are referring pain under your knee cap. Run your hand down your quads see if you hit a tender spot - (could be many) that is where the pain is coming from. For more information pick up The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

Try changing boots. If this doesn't cure the pain, then switch to lighter shoes. Also regularly exercise your legs (but don't strain it, ok?). If your feet got tired, then raise your foot against a wall.
