Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Laser surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Dental surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Dental surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

This cannot be answered without knowing the type of laser eye surgery. It could be refractive, for glaucoma, after cataract, corneal disorders etc. Location also makes a difference. If a medically necessary procedure it is covered by insurance, elective is not.

It's not painful and it's very quick. It is a permanent change, some people will require an enhancement in the first year but that is usually of no charge. You will need reading glasses when you get older (45+) as that is inevitable for everyone as that is a age related lens matter, LASIK is on your cornea. It's worth the money!

Mine (done in 2000) was $4600.

Remember to make sure that the doctor you want to have the surgery with has done TONS of those surgeries. Cheaper is not necessarily better. Also make sure that free enhancements can be done if they will be needed.

Had 20/800 and 20/600 vision with severe astigmatism and now I can see 20/20.

If you are talking about Lasik vision correction about $3000.00 at least. The Clinic we send our patients to is about $3000.00- $3500.00. You also need to see a doctor that does Lasik pre op to see if you are even a candidate. You cornea has to be a certain thickness for it to be done. and not everyone has this.

depends on where you live. It is anywhere between $1,000 per eye to $3,500 per eye. It's cheaper in Canada - about $600 per eye.
