General Health Care - January 2007

I have tried to get her help, but she justs rebuffs me.What can I tell her to get through to her? My brother died from a drug overdose & it really bothers me. HELP!!

I started taking multi-vitamins last week and every night I have been wide awake and full of energy! (which is good as I am only 26 -LOL) but what is bad about it is.. I cant sleep! it take me till 2-3 before its the last time i looked at clock .. (good thing is when i get up in the morning - Im not tired!...yet!!!!) but still annoying that i can't sleep. could this be the pills?

Every indication I get is that you CAN'T claim Homeowner association fees on your taxes. Is this absolutely the case? I paid $600 in association fees last year... can't this somehow be claimed ANYWHERE on the return?
Is there ever a situation where this can be claimed?

After cooking chiko rolls for my brother in the deep fryer, i lifted the basket out and set it on the hook. In doing so, i missed the hook and the basket splashed back into the hot oil @ 200*Celsius. The hot oil splashed up my left hand in blotches and up my wrist to parts of my forearm also. I also experienced small amounts to my upper chest. The most severe burns are to my arm and hand. I automatically placed my entire arm under cool running water for quite some time before applying an ice-pack wrapped in a tea-towel to the area. I had to apply this for a numerous amount of hours. I haven't been to see the doctor as of yet. I have noticed purple-red colouration to one of the burns. I also know for a fact that the burns i have experienced will infact scar. I was wondering if there were any ways of preventing the scaring to my skin. Your help would be much appreciated. It looks as though someone has taked a paintbrush full of paint and thrown dobs and splotches of paint on my arm.

I also have a feeling of pins and needles in my hand sometimes and find mobility of my arm is limited. Had anti-inflammitory pills which did no good. The pain is in my upper arm halfway between my shoulder and my elbow. Anyone got any ideas....
I'm 55 and relatively fit, I run regularly and I'm not overweight or a smoker.

i get 8 hrs of sleep, ive had blood work done they didnt find anything, ive had thyroid checked nothing was found, i slept 8 hrs one day took my daughter to day care and went back to sleep woke up 7 hrs later and still felt very tired, im lost as to what it is.

I am about to have my first child, which is great, but my husband is a smoker. It didn’t really bother me when we meet but now it's a big issue. Am I wrong for feeling this way if when we meet there was not an issue over it? I know it bothers me more because my senses have changed with the pregnancy, but also I don’t want my baby to smell the smoke on her dad. My husband does not smoke in our home, but I’ve noticed the way his hands and cloths smell. What should I do? How did you/ or how would you deal with this problem?

The dosage is one soluble aspirin a day and Three diclofenac with four hour intervals between tablets. I have heared they may not be compatible.

yesterday i was doing som punches on my sandbag at home but when i was done and had took of my equipment including my handwrist support i decided to make a final punch. and when i did that it just snaped.....i can move my hand but it hurt's when im trying to lift something up or do quick moves or when i move it from left to right. is it possible that it's broken r can in jsut be a sprain in my handwrist...

I sprained my ankle 4 weeks ago approx. I wore a brace for about a wk. and have only been walking on it a little bit for a couple days now without the brace, but it really hurts. Should I wrap an ace bandage around it? And for how long? I also have chronic achilles tendonitis, but I still think it's sprained. How do I know for sure?

Today, I went with my mom shopping to a local store. All of a sudden, I got this really sharp pain on top of my cranium. On the right side up. I touched it, and It seemed to be a long puffy lump on my head. Since, that moment. I have had a headache, and up to this hour? I still do! I cant hardly breath b/c the pain is so severe. I have to take very small breaths, its very hard to breathe in or out. I can remember experianceing this for years now, Its just sometimes is worse and it will even go away for months at the time. It is very scary when this happens. Its hard to move my upper body b/c of the pain and its harder to breathe if I move. It literly feels like my rib is in my lung. Sometimes this will last about 15 min and other times 2min. but every time leaves a sorness when the pain is gone. I'm 30 years old, and find myself to be very heathy. I'm not very fond of taking the time to go to the Dr, but there has been times I've almost went to the ER b/c it would scare me on how painful and hard it was to breathe and about the time I would get ready to go the pain would go away. Any suggetions on what this may be?

I cut my knuckle while goofing around with a friend when his watch nicked me. I cleaned it off, and it seems to be healing fine. Other than the fact that it is right on my knuckle, it isnt hurting abnormally, it's not super red, but the scab on it is green. Does that necessarily mean it's infected?

Help... My lovely 3-year old hit her head against the edge of a glass table yesterday, and got a nasty cut smack in the middle of her forehead. Anybody have any ideas if I could do something to prevent the formation of an ugly scar? The cut was deep, but did not need stiching.

I have an alarm clock, and it wakes me up, but i press the snooze and go back to sleep for another 2 or 3 hours.

When i have work, i wake up and i go to work.
but when i have no reason to wake up, i simply don't wake up until i'm tired of sleeping...

Does any one know what i need to do in order to wake up and stay up? something to prevent me from going back to bed? how to i become a morning person?
