Have a sleep study done. This is where you go to a lab and sleep in a monitored bed with an enormous amount of wires stuck to you. I know it doesn't sound comfortable, but it's really not as bad as you might think. What they do is test you for things like sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome. Many of the problems that we have when sleeping are not found in blood tests, etc. Some of them have to be observed. Generally, the problems found in a sleep study have to be countered to make you better, but are usually the reason you feel tired. Basically, you aren't getting a good night's sleep. Even if you think you are sleeping soundly, the various issues I've mentioned (and others) can keep you from getting into a state of deep sleep. Talk to your doctor (especially if you snore - a possible sign of sleep apnea) and find out about a sleep study.

Are you happy in your life? Sleeping a lot can be a sign of depression. Think about what's going on in your life and see if you have any unresolved issues.

The other thing to look at is diet. A poor diet can leave a person very tired and lacking in motivation. Cut out junk food and fizzy drinks and try to get some exercise. You'll say 'oh, I'm way too tired to exercise,' but you may find you have more energy if you do.

Good luck!

Just read your other question. If you're still with that moron of a husband it's no wonder you're tired. You're putting out all the emotional energy in the relationship and have nothing left for yourself. Leave him and get a life that allows you some time to yourself.

it doesn't make sense but its a known fact that the more you sleep the more sleep you need, if your body is getting used to the odd nap during the day then it will start to rely on it. how is every other aspect of your life because constant tiredness can be a symptom of many illness such as anemia, diabetes and even depression theres lots of thing it could be down to if you lead a stressful life then you will be tired, I know i am but i would go speak to your doctor about it and ask him to investigate it more
