If you drank directly fromt the bottle then it could be your personal bacterial incubator. You can transfer oral fluids and bacteria when you backwash. You can usually tell if their was some bacterial or fungal growth by just smelling it. If its stale, dump it. If you poured it into another cup, you should be fine.

I heard you could same way if you drink the whole thing and keep refilling the same bottle, thats why they say once you drink the bottle dont refill it later, or save it. but i find myself leaving a half bottled water sittin around come back 2 weeks ater and finish it or refilling them....im not really sure but i heard you could get sick.

ey i think its a bad habit you got there.. better drink it all up.. because some bacteria may live at that bottle and may cause disease

Unless your a germophobe, it should be fine, and as long as noone tampered with it. I heard water can go bad but it takes a long long time.
