Unless you have done some damage to the region you are having problems with I would suspect you have a developing condition known as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
The wrist area where all the sinews blood vessels and nerves pass into the hand are surrounded by a band of cartilage. In some people this band shrinks and causes pressure upon the nerves. This results in pins and needles being felt in the hand or the fingers. Sometimes there is also blood vessel involvement and the specific region also becomes blanched of color.

The treatment is fairly simple operation of cutting the band of cartilage to release the pressure. Ignoring the problem and enduring the pain can lead to the loss of function that can become permanent if not rectified.
Consult with your doctor to have this investigated properly.
