Last week I did a reverse summer salt playing indoor soccer. I am healthy, 28 yr old male. no previous neck issues. about 4 days after the game, 2 small dime sized bumps appear on the left trap muscle. The barley protrude from the skin making it easy to spot. I can push on them and both are tender, but no major pain. Sleeping is no problem. I dont know what to do other than light neck stretches, and advil.

What do i do? Chiropracter, Doctor, Advil, Nothing? suggestions?

I've been smoking since I was 14 so about 20 years now, I'm a pretty heavy smoker. Also a pretty bad asthmatic, yes I know how stupid I am for smoking! Anyways, I've tried everything I can think of.........cold turkey, nicotine patch, nicotine gum, zyban, and most recently hypnosis. Nothing has worked! I'm a prisoner to these cigarettes and I don't know how to stop and be done with them forever!!! If there is something out there that has worked for even the most seemingly hopeless PLEASE let me know!!

Carried in the groceries about 2 hours ago. In the left hand. A lot of them. Ever since, I have a sharp pain in the back, when bending or turning to the right.

Any ideas what this is?

I have Lortab 10/500 and am prescribed to take one pill every 4-6 hours. They aren't working that great. Would it be safe to take two pills at one time as long as I don't exceed the daily max?
Thanks.

I think it's both ungrateful and immoral.Does this sort of thing happen before?Did the Good Samaritan Law has it's own weaknesses in protecting the rescuer's rights even if the rescuer has a legal CPR card and a CPR certificate that proofs it?If something bad happened to you, will you sue the person that saves your life just for a crack on your ribs?

went to dr about these lumps in my glands and he says it was caused by some random infection from a scratch or something and gave me antibiotics. the lumps are usually accompanied by severe headaches usually brought on by stress and ususally cause neck and shoulder pain.

Do you guys have any ideas about this? All i know is that a little child's ribs easier to break during CPR.How about the adults? Is their bone density differ between both sexes? Can you simply proof this just by performing CPR in someone?

Yesterday, or the day before yesterday, I was eating some fruit and lately after I eat the fruit, I remove the seed(s) from the middle;cuase I plan to do something with them. Well my right pointer finger has gotten sore;sore enough to seriously aggitate my finger;bu not sore enough(at least I dont think) to go to the doctor or hospital, or anything like that.
What if anything do I do to help the soreness go down and go away. It's actually my pointer finger and my thumb;but the thumb is not as bad as the finger. It's sore underneath the nails mainly not just the outside.

Any ideas or suggestions?Anything that helps is welcome.Thanx!

I don't know why but almost every person at my school who has sex, smoke, dip, and drink, we are only 13-15 yr. olds. I have to admit... I have been known to do all of these too. I did it because my parents do it. I know that this is a dumb question.

In my case, he took a week to tell me he was wrong. In the meantime, my parents were planning my funeral. Believe me when I say that receiving a death sentence isn't easy.

I was just out on the road. We had freezing rain in good old Quebec today and I was out literaly stuck on ice for over 2 hours. It has been my worse experience since I have been driving, and I have been driving a very long time. It was awful and I'm still shaking from it. What would you do ....oh by the way, I have to go back out to pick up my son in the coming hour.

For a very long time I've had bad painful knots in the same spot in my upper back. Sometimes for little parts of the day I don't feel them, but usually they hurt a lot on a regular basis. I've tried laying on a golf ball, I've had my friends/parents try and massage it out, I've tried to massage it out myself, and I use icy hot patches on it and the pain goes away for about an hour after i take the patch off, but it always returns to the same spot. I swim everyday for 2 hours and I do a dryland workout that involves medincine ball throwing, and I carry a backpack around school all day but it's usually very light. Could those be reasons for my back feeling this way, and if so, how can I get rid of these back knots, and what can I do to prevent them from coming back? Should I get a professional massage, or are there things I can do at home to help? Are there any stretches I can do to loosen them up? Feedback is appreciated. =]

I don't even want to get up and answer the door right now. Is it ok to just say "not at this time, I just can't"?
