A women or a child is most fragile mostly due to the hormones and bone structure A child is not completely developed and is not as "strong" as an adult. However, when CPR is done correctly nothing should break at all. When you administer CPR, you compress directly below the breast bone.

the reliable Samaritan regulation replaced into designed to guard the final public from reprocussions of attempting to accomplish what they perceive to be lifesaving measures without formal practise in first help and cpr. In reaction then, confident is immoral and could be thrown out of a courtroom. yet on an analogous value, I easily have yet to discover a time that I easily have performed cpr and not "cracked a rib or 2", yet extra often then no longer, regularly you're basically isolating the sternum from the rib cage on the cartilage. And in case you do no longer pay attention that sound, you're in all probability no longer doing deep adequate or powerful compressions on the guy.

of course a childs ribs would crack more easily than an adults.
women tend to have more brittle bones than men due to hormone differences. men have strong bones and women have a tendencyto have brittle bones as they grow older. i believe this is due to osteoporosis. if a woman takes calcium ever day then their bones will be a little stronger but if you are still planning to sue the paramedic that broke your ribs then forget it. the paramedics will win every time.

A woman's. The female skeletal system is more delicate than a male's - it's related to hormones- the bones are lighter and less dense. If I remember correctly, a woman's bones are a little more translucent as well. The male bones become thicker past puberty.

In my opinion it matters more about age. An older adult's bones would theoretically break easier than a younger adult because as you age you lose bone mass and density.

homones in women make your bone calcium deteriorate over time, it's called osteoporosis. Generally speaking, because of the hormones, women's bones are more fragile than mens.... also, the heaver the person, the stronger their bones are.

Women's ribs are easier to break than men's. This is because most women's body frames are smaller than mens.
