Hmmm....

How did we come to this? Let me get this straight, you are still in school? Young?

LSD & pot were legal in the 60's along with a host of other drugs. Cocaine was legal prior to the 50's.

The world has not come to anything, except to understand that you can't stay stoned all the time.

Drinking is legal for children as young as 8, in some countries.

Sex (oral) is performed on infants to calm them in some cultures. (look it up don't argue)

Cussing has been around since the first man/woman has stumped their toe.

Dipping, has been around and legal for all ages (in some countries) for over 100 years.

What we have come to, is an understanding that some things are bad for you, others will kill you, and others are just frowned upon by the majority.

The world has always been doing those things. It's just becoming more common and more open these days for people to do it. Soon, it will probably be the normal thing to do. It's sad but maybe true.

Blame your parents.... The family dynamics have changed since the 50's. Back then a mother was a mother, she stayed home raised the children and looked after the house, and family. Then things changed, the mother was no longer in the house, she either had to work to support the family, or wanted to work to maintain her individuality. The children had to look after themselves, fend for themselves. Mother was not home to provide the discipline like she was able to in the 50's, or she was not their to tell us what was right or wrong. Children became very independant, they turned to society for support. Society came with peer pressure, and to fit in we conformed to certain pressures. Now we have a society that has a large rate of seperation and divorce, children still turn to society and buckle under pressure to fit in. Your peers think it is cool to smoike, do drugs and what ever, to fit in you go along with that pressure.

Who told you those human activities are taboos? Ok, let's face it. We must understanding of human nature in order to have peace with ourselves. Four basic needs of man must be satisfied to be well-balanced person. 1) physical needs or what we call sexuaity; 2) biological needs like we must be nourished; 3) emotional needs of relating our joy and sorrow and 4) spiitual need. All these things must be done properly.

we are in an age of self gratification, and anything goes. no restraints on anything. that is why everything is going wild. stds are running rampant and kids are running away in droves and drug deaths are at an all time high. well we just have to learn restraint. merry christmas.
