Thermacare are single use pads that can be used and disposed of after use. They are very light weight and like the first answerer said they are activated when you open the packaging. Here is a link to their site.

Enjoy your sightseeing and I hope it's pain free for you.

They have one, and I know you asked for specifics, and I'm sorry I cannot provide them...

BUT, it is not a heating PAD...I think they're called Thermacare heating pads and wraps...actually, yes the name is Thermacare.

They activate when you open their package and last up to 8 hours...totally non-electric/chargeable, and work like a charm.

I use one on my back before bedtime when it's really out of sorts and it helps a BUNCH.

Try the Thermacare pads you've been told about.
