My body temperature always seems to be very warm, but when I am sleeping it is very noticeable. My wife says it's like sleeping next to a furnace!

I was wondering what I can do about this darn hip of mine. It was dislocated at age 13 and I had surgery (two long pins) in and I had them removed when I was 14. Some things as an adult I can't do. I can't even squat for long periods of time. I am also scared of heights that my hip will break (even though I was on the ground when I dislocated it). Will my hip ever return to "normal"? Will a LOT of exersice help it? I can't even stand up striaght since my right knee sticks out. Oh, and the pain I experience during cold weather!

I have two ingrown toenails, I have not seen a doctor yet but I am almost positive I will need both of them surgically removed, the thing is I don't want it done with just an anesthetic, I would prefer to be in a deep sleep so I don't feel, see, or hear anything during the surgery.
I know ingrown toenails are common but if they have to cut into my toe while I'm awake I will seriously freak out. If I go see a doctor can I just tell him that I would like to be asleep or can't I?

Hello, I have a little problem with my achilles tendon. I'm doing a sport where my left leg achiles tendon is always tense, it's always working. Several weeks ago i noticed that on my heel, where achilles tendon connects to the bone there's a little bump (like tendon there got bigger), and on the other heel there was no bump. So as it didn't heal by itself I went to see a doctor, she prescribed me Histalgan, a liniment to cure from infamation, and some anti-inflammatory medicine to drink. As this didn't help I'm attending ultrasound sound sessions. But this actually doesn't seem to help too...
What is the most surprising that I don't feel any pain there, but I still keep missing my trainings because, I want it to be healed... but I can't see improvement at all.
So my question is if any of you had this problem and how did you fight it ?

Thank you

While opening gifts on Christmas I accidently stabbed myself in the stomach with my dad's small pocket knife. My mom's a nurse and looked at it, assumed it was only a 1/2 inch wide and 1 inch deep and just cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide, neosporin and then a bandage.
Well, here it is in the middle of the night and I woke up nauseated and having to vomit.
I'm paranoid. Could the two be related at all?
(If not, i'll feel pretty stupid for asking, but whatever. I thought it was worth it.)

When I had my knee Surgically repaired using my own patellar tendon from the same knee, it seemingly fixed the tendonitis problem in that knee... If I had had the tendon removed from the other knee, would I have had that problem fixed too? How much did your surgery cost and how are you doing now?

Im only 22 years old and Ive bowled since I was 9 or 10. I now bowl 30+ games a week just to stay in shape and practice for leagues/tourneys. My knees(both of them, but moreso the left one) and my ankles(also moreso the left one) have bothered me from time to time since I was about 18 but Ive never had the insurance or money to do anything about it. I took 9 months off at one time to try and let my joints heal but after coming back iit seemed like they progressed eventually back to what they were before I stopped. The ankle pain(left) starts when I wake up in the morning and I can barely walk on it until I stretch it and move it around for about 5 minutes. Otherwise, it will pop more than rice krispies. The knee pain(left also) cramps up when Im sitting in a tight seating area, and when I stretch it out I can hear maybe ligaments or something?. Ive tried stretching them constantly, and as I said staying off them. My right knee/ankle are minor time to time pains.

I stretched my ACL out 4 years and im just now going to the ortho cause I knew what ligament was injured and wanted to give it time, plus I was poor. I took yoga and northern shaolin kung fu to rehab it. It got stronger and works good, but still feels loose, and gives out during some running attacks. I went to the Ortho and he says Its amazing I can do all the advanced things I can do. Technically he says, I shouldnt be able to do 90 percent of what I can and it doesnt give mainly because of the other muscles being so intensely strong to compensate. Ive heard good stories, and horror stories about ACL ligaments, but the bad ones were operations of 15 years ago, military VA related, or alot worse injuries. Will it ever be as tight as before it was injured? The doc seems to think it will if I treat it right, rehab it like before, ill be good as new or better. Im 24, in great shape otherwise. Im worried it will be worse than now, or come undone when I do a snappy type kick after I rehab i
