Im only 22 years old and Ive bowled since I was 9 or 10. I now bowl 30+ games a week just to stay in shape and practice for leagues/tourneys. My knees(both of them, but moreso the left one) and my ankles(also moreso the left one) have bothered me from time to time since I was about 18 but Ive never had the insurance or money to do anything about it. I took 9 months off at one time to try and let my joints heal but after coming back iit seemed like they progressed eventually back to what they were before I stopped. The ankle pain(left) starts when I wake up in the morning and I can barely walk on it until I stretch it and move it around for about 5 minutes. Otherwise, it will pop more than rice krispies. The knee pain(left also) cramps up when Im sitting in a tight seating area, and when I stretch it out I can hear maybe ligaments or something?. Ive tried stretching them constantly, and as I said staying off them. My right knee/ankle are minor time to time pains.

see a chiropractor. I know it sounds weird, but they can do miracles when you get these kinds of pains...and they don't prescribe drugs.

You should have gone to your doctor for proper diagnosis of your problem. There are young people like you who suffer some kind of rheumatism even at that age. You may ask your parents if they have the same problems before since it could be genetic. Why should you suffer at a very young age? go to your family doctor and let him assess your case. It could'nt cost you that much to have a discussion and be very honest in answering all his questions...having no insurance money is not reasonable enough for you to bear all the suffering in silence. be brave and face your ordeal head on.
