my friend showed me a picture of what looked like warts in her vagina.. I told her they looked like gential warts and that she should get tested.. She claims their not gential warts because when she was tested all the doc said she had was a uti.. could her uti lead to those bumps? what else could they be? she said they hurt all the time. but doesn't burn when she pees.. I'm at a lost what to tell her..

I'm Costa Rican and I've had genital herpes for 5 years, and I have been having outbreaks once a month at least, always when I have my period. My doctor prescribed Valtrex once a day, but since it is insainly expensive and I can not afford it, he changed it for Aciclovir every 8 hours for 7 days, and then after that Valtrex once a week...this is my second week, ...can it work once a week?

I was drinking all night and had no sleep but anyways I gave this guy a bj and didn't have anything on my lip.. I didn't see anything on him either.. I didn't feel tingly or anything like that. When I woke up I still didn't really feel or see anything it was later that day that I felt it and saw it forming. Couldn't do anything about it thou.. too bad. So question is did he give it to me.. or did I give it to him even though there was no symptoms when I went down on him. And yes it was a very thurough bj and make out session... Oh and I have gotten it before, is there anyway that he could have gotten it from me even with no symptoms..

I was wondering...male condoms are like..close to 100% safe...90 something...female condoms i heard they are thicker...so harder to break....what if the boy uses male condom, and the girl female condom...would that make it nearly impossible for the girl to get pregnant? Or any STD? If the condom brks, is it easier for the men or the woman to get any STD?

She went to the doctor last week and I found out that if you have a genital warts, your body CAN fight off the virus. Meaning you do not have to carry the virus for the rest of your life. The doctor says it happens in your late teens and early 20's. I wanted to share this with you all, because majority of you said that the virus is with you for the rest of your life and it's not true.

ive had two miscarrages in the last 6 months, had a investigation to find out why, my results came back yesterday and said i have clhmidiya (however u spell it) i had a full screening for std's before i went into new relationship with new partner which was two years ago and i was clear as i have just found out i have a STD i very angrily cnofronted my boyfriend, and after a while admitted he slept with some one with std but not whilst with me , but never had it checked as he reckoned he was protected, im very upset about this and cant have him near me , at all, now i dont want n e advice i just want some suppport , im wondering why he never told me and as a result of his stupidty he has caused me two pain miscarriages of my babies, i have been left extremly devasted and i dont know what to do , i feel as if my boyfriend is hiding other stuff from me now am i paronoid? or being silly?

Ive been told a couple different things .. One person said all you need is a urine, blood, and cotton swab taken from your mouth. Ive also heard that they stick a q tip up your penis ..... THATS A NONO.... either way I have been looking around for free clinics and I cant find anything. what are prices, procedure and other things I should be aware of? any links to free clinics in the Ny area would be helpful. What does it feel like. I am hearing all sorts of different answers. I mean, I know some peoples are worse than others, but I'm confussed. I talked to a nurse who told me it was extreamly painfull, and acted like it would pritty much ruin my life, and then I talked to a guy who has it and he said that he has not had an outbreak in 5 years and that even when he did it was no big deal and did not even really hurt. Can anyone tell me what it's like for them? Thanks, I really apprecialte it.
