This guy says he is HIV negative but that is still bad right? Like when you are tested and you're completely clean you aren't told you're HIV- am I right? Maybe I'm naive but I've never been/needed to be tested so I'm not sure.

To keep ourselves safe, we need a public list where we can see who has HIV in our communities! I would love to go on a website and find out whether or not someone I know is infected. It will help decrease our chances of getting HIV if we know! Plus the people who have HIV can go on and look for other HIV infected people and therefore have sexual inercourse with each other! Think about the danger they can cause if they go unnoticed, about the lives we can save!

I mean, wouldn't it save MORE lives if there was an easy way to be told if someone had an STD? An STD/AIDS test costs money which is why people don't really go through with all that trouble. But if there was an offical file (almost like a phone book) that was updated every year that told who had an STD, wouldn't that make life much easier for people who aren't infected?

There should be an annual government-paid test that everyone has to go through with. Don't do it and you go to jail (just like if you didn't do your taxes). No one should have a problem with it. If they don't have an STD, they have nothing to worry about. If they do then shouldn't people know...unless they were going to keep it from everyone and just spread it with every partner they had (which is illegal too). Either way, I don't see any good reason why the public shouldn't be warned about the people with STD's. Schoold HAVE to be warned when a child has the chicken pox or other contagious disease.

I found a bottle of Valtrex prescribed to a girl that I have had unprotected sex with recently. She denies that she has herpes, but I saw a commercial for Valtrex and it was about herpes. She told me she takes it for acne, could that be true?

There are some STD's that are not protected by condoms, such as crabs, pubic lice, HERPES, and many others. Just because the factories make them, doesn't mean they are accurate, and really is PROTECTION!!!!

Two days ago my vagina was itching really bad and I went to take a shower but I think I scratched it when I was sleeping. And the next morning I woke up and went to go pee and felt something like a blister on the inside lip of my vagina. It was really painful and when I touched it I felt a burning sensation and it hurt so bad. But when I pee it doesn't hurt it just hurt when I try to wipe it or wash it in the showers. I've looked around for symptoms like this and found a lot had to do with herpes. Can someone give me some answers? The other day I just had a HIV test and it came out negative but my urine sample as been sent to the lab I'll get results soon but I can't wait that long. Has anyone been through this before?

well about six months ago my boyfriend had about 4 bumps on the shaft of his penis, they dont look like blisters, The best why to describe them is that they look like skin tags or something, they dont hurt him, he wouldnt of even noticed them if he didnt see them.....they went away within a week....I havent gotten any bumps or anything.. and he hasnt gotten any since.. so what do you think?
