STDs - June 2007

OK, I really don't know what is goin on and I have so many questions. Theres a bump on the outside of my vagina and also today I just noticed I have another one on my vulva. I have been tested for STD's and HIV, and all tests came up negative. I always have discharge, and this bad odor, and now this bumps that really itch. I am so worried I don't know what to do. My partner is always saying I have a bad odor and it's really embarrasing. Doctors don't seem to take me seriously because of my insurance. I am so tired of using dauches and stuff I really want a cure for this. I AM REALLY SEEKING HELP. Please give me some advice, I really want some good serious answers, is not a joke. Please help.


Also, could you tranfer an STD using a dildo that hasn't been used for a while?

Could you tranfer an STD by just sitting on a public toilet that seems to be clean?

Im 41 weeks pregnant. When I was 36 weeks, I was tested for all infections(negative) as well when I first discovered I was pregnant. My bf just came to me and told me that he cheated on me in Sept...and may have contracted something bc he's experiencing a non-burning discharge. His dr said it maybe gonnhrea or chlaymdia(both spelled wrong). And hes concerned cause we has sex last week. QUESTION!!--If he cheated in Sept..and I had nothing, and he claims he hasnt cheated since, hows it possible that I may have something now. I thought all STds(except AIDS) show up then. And IF I have something since I was 36 weeks.....that means he cheated..Correct? And is it possible for a male to have discharge and it not be an STi or STD?

I can tell that many of you are very young, and probably scared and embarrassed. You can't go to your parents and you don't know where to go to get answers for these types of questions. You should know that you should be very critical of anything you read on this site. This is not the place to come if you need serious answers. I am a registered nurse and I have been visiting this site for the past few days. I am stunned at the rediculousness of so many answers. There are a few who are obivously eduacted in medicine or health care. Some people who have had experiences with STDs can give good insight and support, but for the most part, the answerers are grossly misinformed. If you don't know enough about STDs to decifer the truth from fiction you should take these answers with a grain of salt. I would suggest going to this website by planned parenthood: http://www.teenwire.com/. It has easy to understand information about all the STDs.

After getting treatment for chlamydia, (taking perscribed anti-biotics) can it ever come back, can complications still arise, or can you still pass it to others? Or is it gone for good?

i had injection for gonorrhea on thursday. on friday night i slept in the same bed as another guy. we were both wearing pants. we just kissed and cuddled. my pants got a bit damp probably with pre *** but maybe discharge. is it possible that the other guy could have gotten gonorrhea?

r any kind of condom that enhances HER pleasure. yea lubes too, not oil based cuz i think that breaks the condom. could someone recommend a specific brand of lube or condom for enchancement to sex for the female. thanks in advnce!!

ok well 1 day before my period, i started having vaginal itching.......... well it has been 6 days since the last day of my period but iits still itching....... its not itching that much tho... it only itches alot when i scratch it........it doesnt have any smell to it......... is this a yeast infection????? and i have heard of douche............... how does it work? what do you do????? do i have to treat it or will it do away on its own??????????? is there anythings homemade that will cure it?????????? ive heard of pH balance..... what is that?? My friend had told me some GOOD NEWS!! The STD-Genital Warts that had is gone!!!

This was announced just a few hours ago. And if it works for HIV, couldn't it work for other retroviruses as well? Looks like a cure for HIV is a possibility after all - isn't science great? :)

a couple of days ago i had laparoscopy surgery done and my dr. found out that my right fallopian tube was clogged. since i'm trying to concieve i asked if there was anything that he could do for this problem and he said no. i read up on this and found out that there was a way to unblock my tubes naturally and that there is a surgical procedure that can be done. i'm confused and don't know what to believe. can anyone help?

I have only had sex once. Yes it was un-protected but it wasnt by choice we were both wasted.

But this stuff Im about to tell you has happened before I even had sex. For some strange reason, maybe once a year if that, I get bumps under the skin on my vagina. They are the size of a pea and hard and when I push on it, it hurts, but nothing too painful. Occasionally I'll get one outside of the skin that is blood colored. When they come, it's usually about two or three of them. Like I said they dont come that often, and they arent painful.

I don't think this is normal. I am in a serious relationship now but I dont want to have sex with this guy until I know for sure what it is. I have a Dr. appointment in two months.

Should I be concerned? What do you think it might be? My friend seems to think it's an STD, but I dont see how if I was getting this before having sex.

Any advice would be great. Please dont be rude and hateful in my asking this question. I came here for help. Thank you.

I work @ Cracker Barrel and I was just told by my best friend that he has AIDs.........he only recently found out, he begged me not to say anything to anyone but my conscience is getting the best of me.......if I were eating out I would want to know if my server had AIDs wouldnt you? In this day and age there's no excuse for having an unecessary pregnancy... There's so many method's of BC it's ridiculous.. I'm tired of ppl. "Oh my bf pulled out could I be pregnant..?" Or "we didn't use a condom, could I be pregnant?" just because you are on the pill doesn't mean that you can't get pregnant, especially if you aren't taking it properly if you are confused about your choice of BC you should be using a back-up birth control method (condom,VCF,Spermicide etc...) Also, if you have more than one sexual partner you also should be concerned with STD's that the "pill" doesn't protect against.. He should be wearing a condom and if he won't because they are "uncomfortable" so is peeing fire and an STD... Please ppl. be more responsible with yourselves....

My doctor told me she wont perscribe Valtrex for me unless I am having an outbreak. I havent had one in a while but i read somewhere that if you wait too long to take Valtrex it won't help you? Is this true?

I had unprotected sexual contact with a guy in late jan. A painful bump appeared in my vagina a few days later but when i went to the gynocologist she said i just had a yeast infection. Today my vagina felt a little sore and when i checked i noticed another sore which feels tender and another one on the other side. Im trying to get an appointment for 2moro...in the meantime,this is herpes probably? The last time the sore didnt crust or anything,it dissapeared after a week.
