Are you asking this because you want to have sex with your dog?

My advise...abstain from canine sex, and take your dog to the vet.

It could be an STD, but then again do you know who your dog has been sleeping with? You should have them checked too to make sure.

As to whether it is transferable to people... yes and no.

Genital warts, at least in humans, are most commonly spread through intercourse or contact with the genital area. My hypothesis is that yes, it is transferable to humans, but only if you plan on touching that area a great deal... I would also watch which bitches your dog is with, cervical cancer can develop is dogs too, cervical cancer being caused by HPV, the same virus which might have caused your dog's wart.

Well my gosh--how close are you to your dog! No, it's not a STD and nontransferable to humans. It's just a wart , nothing serious unless your dog is vain about his physical appearance around the lady dogs!

Don't worry about it. Dogs get plenty of warts, especially on their belly area.
