I'm afraid the whole 'loves me alot' thing has nothing to do with it. Go get yourself tested. If it's negative - no worries. If it's positive he has some explaining to do - especially why he would expose you to in incurable disease if he 'loves you a lot'.

First, I need to address that RN's post. The virus that causes cold sores and genital herpes is very similar and the both the viruses can be found in each area. They do not change if they go to a different region as she suggested. The viruses do not mutate into each other. The herpes virus that causes cold sores and chickenpox are completely different and having chickenpox as a child does not mean that you get cold sores from it. I had chickenpox as a child, I have never had a cold sore, and have HSV-1 (which is the main cause of cold sores) genitally.

Now to your question. Most people don't get symptoms of herpes, and even out the ones that do its usually mild symptoms. So most people don't know they have it. He could very well have herpes, but it doesn't mean he knew that he did. The fact that he says he loves you a lot doesn't mean anything (I'm not saying he doesn't love you)

But both get yourselves tested.

You do could cope with this through fact if he does not have it, he needs to have a say to no count if he gets greater exposures to it (from you). the element is, there would be problems that are severe and being easy approximately it relatively is significant. If he cares approximately you it won't wreck the courting. a great proportion of individuals have energetic or inactive herpes. you're no longer on my own. i'm confident you are going to shield this only wonderful...and so will he, if he's a robust guy. playstation : He would have transmitted it to you thru oral intercourse (you will get oral and/or genital herpes in the two region). My wager is that it is not out of your previous contacts, inspite of the fact that it rather is achievable which you caught the virus an prolonged time in the past and did no longer have warning signs earlier. some human beings don't have warning signs. don't be stressful on your self, ok? that isn't the top of the international.

First you need to find out if you do indeed have herpes, there is a difference between the herpes that cause cold sores and genital herpes. If you have sores on your genital region you need to see a doctor for testing and treatment, if all you have is a cold sore, that herpes virus is a result of having had chicken pox as a child, the virus remains dormant in the nervous system and expresses occasionally as cold sores. Genital herpes can be transmitted even if there are no sores, so always use protection for your partner's sake. Also do not participate in oral sex if you have a cold sore, because that virus can be transmitted to the genitals where it will mutate into the genital type.

If you think you have herpes and the two of you are sexually active, there is a good chance you both have it.

You should both -- immediately -- be checked out by a doctor. Don't wait around worrying and talking about it -- go find out! This is too important.

If you cannot afford a doctor, go to a free clinic or public health facility. But DO IT!

Cold sores and chicken pox are NOT the same virus. What the? You're a RN?

There are 8 herpes virus that attack man. Chicken pox is varicella-zoster or HHV-3. Cold sores are not.

You are thinking of chicken pox and shingles

What does him saying that he loves you a lot have to with anything? I can bet you if you did have herpes he wouldn't "love you a lot". Go get your a.ss tested.
