I know the common sense answer but if I were asking you as the married couple "Can you please get tested before we have sex so we all feel safe?" Would you give a bad reaction to me or would you not mind it and go ahead and do it?

If someone asked me to get tested before having a threesome I would not mind at all, but I think that you should approach in a manner that implies that you all go down and get tested.
You taking there word on it would be like them taking your word on it.
Usually a threesome is a thought out plan if you are older and there should be issues that are discussed before hand.

All parties involved should bring their reports. It's 2007, the modern age. And if you are "free" enough to be doing a threesome, then asking some straightworward questions should be no big deal.

If someone were to ask me about tests as part of an invitation for a threesome, I'd say, "no problem, as long as your wife is good-looking."

It is always wise to know that you are having sex with people who are disease-free. It's not spontaneous, but if it will save your life, it is worth it. I would not be upset at all if someone wanted proof I was clean. I would just think they were smart and responsible.

It depends how well you know them and can you ask them without having tempers flare.... Thats a bit of sensitive issue.

There is always condoms if you want to stay safe out there.

Depends, do you feel comfortable having sex w/ people who possible are not concerned about STDs? Otherwise, ask them. If they get upset does it really matter?

I think you should definitely have them tested, and as a courteous to them you get tested as well. You are gonna be real sorry if you get an STD.

It is not only right but it should be mandatory. Many STDs are killers!

My idea would be to offer EVERYONE to get tested - show them that you are clean, for reassurance. That way everyone feels better about it and it doesn't have you feeling that uncomfortable either!

I would advise you just don't have sex with them. It'll take months for HIV to show in your blood, so even if you get tested it could be false negatives.

protect yourself.
