Herpes is a virus that becomes dormant in a persons body. When the virus "flares up" due to triggers like stress or certain foods it can cause a person to experience an outbreak.

An outbreak is when the virus "flares up". It causes large blister like sores where ever the body is infected (usually the genital area). The first outbreak is usually always the longest and is the most painful. My first outbreak lasted about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks (with medication). Reoccurring outbreaks usually heal faster then the first outbreak and are usually less painful then the first outbreak (they are still very painful though!). These outbreaks can last a few days to a few weeks. My reoccurring outbreaks tend to last about a week (with medication).

Once the virus becomes dormant again the blisters will heal and dissapear. A person can still spread the virus though, whether they have an outbreak or not. And, there is NO cure for herpes. Once a person has the virus, they will always have it.

stress causes herpes outbreaks to be worse, and more frequent. A friend of mine has oral herpes, and when she gets stressed out, cold sores pop up all over her mouth, which by the way IS oral herpes. Her outbreaks last a week or so usually, but she also takes medication for it. Though that valtrex commerical has said before that your partner can contract herpes even if there isn't an outbreak. So while the bumps aren't there, the disease itself is.

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know lots of girls will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/qYVS8 everything got better.

Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

There is no cure for herpes.

Outbreaks can last from a few days to a few weeks. The first outbreak is generally the worst. Certain things can trigger an outbreak (like stress, a certain food or even too much sunlight)

The sores will disappear, but the virus lays dormant in your body.

I had a friend of mine who has had a couple of outbreaks(oral) in an year. Another person who I know had just one (oral) in the last 4 years. Yet another one had it just once (genital). In all these cases, the sores healed completely leaving no scars.
